Great comics! I was wondering why Luke hasn't posted these on Rooster Teeth before--well maybe he has on profile and I've been living under a rock, but c'mon, I don't stalk the guy. These comics would make great add on's to the site, so why not put them as an add on to RT comics? Or are you thinking about making your own website devoted to "Balls to the Wall," Luke?
Ye they were on his profile but I don't stalk him. I just follow him around and take pictures of him on the toilet. Ya know, fan stuff. But I do hope he keeps them going. To quote a cartoon tiger, "They're GREAT!"
they are a side part of the site. In my journal and in this group. There are a few webcomics that are pretty much exclusive just to the Rooster Teeth community pages. It's really quite cool to stumble across them.
well, I'm all "sold out" of printings now. Though they never were on sale. I just gave copies out to friends and odd folks on the site. I probably have enough new drawings to make another one. I don't think they're the kinda thing that goes up in the Rooster Teeth store as it's just stuff I've done on the side. Maybe I can do a store of my own one day.
Me too! You can always put it out outside of Rooster Teeth or make an limited amount and send them to customers that bought over $50 or so worth of merchandise as a freebie. That would be sweet!
you know I've just been letting folks name them whatever they want them to be. A lot of people called the guy "Bandaid" but as that's a trademarked name I've only ever called him "agent balls" or "private balls" for whatever situation he's been in. For the girl, it was supposed to be Rue Morgue based of that user her on RT, but there was a joke where she gets called "Mustard" and it's kind of stuck. Both the guy and girl were based off my own and Emily's likeness, but I'm trying to steer away from that and make them their own characters, but they some times are referred to by our names. As for the blender... there's been lots of names, "Blendy" "Franenblender" "Blenderthing"
but really, it's just the three reoccurring characters, so I don't think folks will get confused. They can be any name you want them to be.
Have you ever thought about integrating your own characters into RT comics? Like, will there be a comic featuring Burnie Burns and "Private Balls" or vice versa?
Well he did post some of the comics in his journal but they were out of continuity. Not that I am stalking Luke or anything. I just think he is a really good artist and I enjoy seeing the little doodles he adds to each of his journal entries.
