It's connected, I feel I could defend my house from zombies for a while... best thing to do here is to board up the windows and doors. See if you can wait out the zombie onslaught, they might be the kind that still die of hunger. I have stacks of cement I could use in the fortification of my house... The worst thing I could do is turn lights on and attract hundreds. After I run out of food in my house I will begin to travel, it's too risky to go out and come back to the same little spot. I could easily be followed by a zombie, then the numbers will grow and I will have hundreds outside my door.
I'm in Perth. Apparently we're the most isolated city in the world so I reckon we'll be one of the last areas to get infected. I'm gonna use that to my advantage, wait it out here and use the time I have to prepare for the worst. I'll build a defensible shelter on one of the small islands nearby to retreat to when the zombie hordes finally make it across the Nullarbor. The key to my retreat is I know a guy named Grif who I'll use as bait as I make my escape :P

i reckon we get in groups of about 10 then loot shops abd get food, hop on boats and go out on the water, but not too far from land, until the zombies die of starvation :)
I think we've turned from actual zombie plans to just naming towns that we think zombies wont like. Zombies have no taste in what town they'd wander through, so unless it has some geographical feature that could deter zombies it won't make much of a difference.

Yeah, that would screw up most of my plan. I'd have to escape to somewhere else. But I would still use Grif as bait, that part's foolproof.
I think Part One of my preperation plan would be to score some Tac Bac .... Tactical Canned Bacon

Why would I need a shopping list? I didn't think anyone cared about money and buying shit in an apocalypse? A readyness list maybe a good idea though, need to make a list of shit I need for my boat :P
Which by the way, if anyone's interested, I'm actually going to buy a boat and maroon it somewhere in case this event actually takes place, anyone want in? I can make a list of priority guests (currently looks like it'll be able to carry ~30 people :P)
