entirely new anime updateEven though nobody reads my journals anymore, it's nice to use this as a "spare" list of all of the anime I watch/have watched, in case I lose all of mine or something (182GB and counting baby!)
I've been thinking, thinking about how in middle school one of the "cool" things to do was hate on anime (at least in MY middle school), and how people that watch anime are pathetic low-lifes similar if worse to the original stereotype of a hard-core gamer (you know, 40 year old virgin in his moms basement). It's funny how I used to actually think that just because someone watched a specific type of show, they were weird, and that being weird is wrong and all that, but now, I don't really care about how others think of me, I mean, I don't really know what I'm trying to say, but I know that all of that has changed for me. I remember the first time I (realized I) watched anime *don't you hate it when people hate on anime, but always say "DragonBall Z was too cool to be anime!"?*, I was at my friend Ryan's house for one of his LAN parties *come to think of it, I might've posted this story before... whatever lol*, and when people stopped playing Halo 3, slowly everyone migrated into his house *his garage is separated from his house btw* to watch Deathnote (in my opinion a pointless anime, don't see what the big deal is about that show), and I went in, watched part of it, was all like "this is so f*cking stupid" in my head, got some food, went back in the garage, and yeah.
THEN, the next day, after everybody left, I woke up, went downstairs, and found Ryan watching this Naruto (eng dubbed) marathon showing all day or whatever the first 101 episodes, and he was all like "omg dude, perfect timing. You HAVE to watch this with me, you have no choice" and such, so I sat down and watched from 50 or 60 something to 100, and after that I went home, and went onto stage6.com *no longer up sadly Dx* and started watching Naruto.
I later accepted DragonBall Z as an anime ^.^
