You know what really grinds my gears?? When people ignore your texts, and then pretend that they didn't get them. I know they are getting the texts, you see I'm a sneaky mo fo, and I'll put juicy gossip information in the ignored texts that said folks cannot get from anywhere else than that text. Then in an even more dastardly move I will indirectly bring that information up in a face to face conversation just to see what happens. Let me tell you guys, every single time the person in question tells on themselves by admitting knowledge of the topic I put in the message. With that trick, the ret...

You know what really grinds my gears?? When people ignore your texts, and then pretend that they didn't get them. I know they are getting the texts, you see I'm a sneaky mo fo, and I'll put juicy gossip information in the ignored texts that said folks cannot get from anywhere else than that text. Then in an even more dastardly move I will indirectly bring that information up in a face to face conversation just to see what happens. Let me tell you guys, every single time the person in question tells on themselves by admitting knowledge of the topic I put in the message. With that trick, the return receipts from the text messages themselves, and texting other people and getting a response; I know beyond a doubt that the messages are getting through.
That being said, why the fo do people have to lie about not getting messages?? It takes no time at all to say something along the lines of ' Dude I don't want to talk to you right now, piss off '. With iOS6 it really takes no time at all (the phone gives you an option to text something back from the lock screen). So why lie about crap like that? Has our society been conditioned into just accepting the "I didn't get your messages" response without question so much that people will use it anywhere? I for one Have begun to call BS on that response. If I were a more bitter person I'd probably just pull the same thing on them the next time they text me in desperate need for my help with something.

Is it just me, or is there anyone else out there that hates this as much as I do?
