Drinking and Driving... The PodcastI don't know how I feel about the first part of the podcast this week. I think I could say I am disappointed in the attitudes presented. There is no excuse to drink and drive. I know that Jack and Geoff say they were sober but Joel was drinking and driving. Whether he got away with it or not is irrelevant. I hope it a cultural difference, here drinking and driving is a serious offense and no sympathy is given in any situation. It's wrong not because it's illegal but because you are needlessly putting other peoples lives at risk. I sure hope the guys weren't just digging for a "cool story bro" moment. Don't get me wrong I love drinking but it needs to be done responsibly. No one has the right to gamble with someone else life.I wonder how someone who has lost a friend or family member to a drunk driver would feel about todays podcast. |
