Time For An UpdateSeeing as how it's nearly been a whole year since I made a journal entry, I kinda figured to make one before I lose all credibility.

So Q1) Why has it taken me so long to make a journal entry?

Well... as I person I'm kinda lazy, I'll admit it , guilty as charged, but that's not the main reason. A little while ago I went on holiday to Ireland (lovely place, absolutely check it out if you love Guinness and rain) and while I was there I decided "you know what? I haven't made a journal entry in a while, let's do it!". However shortly after I made this decision I discovered that Ireland has the WORST internet in the world (sorry Australia). The entry in question was titled 'RT Reactions' where I basically assigned bronze, silver and gold awards for what I considered the best genuine reactions by RT employees. So long story short, I had created and completed a sweet-ass JE, but when it came to submitting.........I got the check internet connection screen... and subsequently gave myself the mother-of-all facepalms. Needless to say I was pretty hurt after that both externally and internally, and that's why the hiatus has lasted so long.

Q2) What am I up to?

- Trying to get a job
- Trying to Merit my I-Media BTEC (Creative Media is already in the bag)
- Trying to get a decent PC
- Trying to get my new Youtube channel started
- Trying to get a girlfriend ("The name's Guy, Forever Alone Guy")

Alright that will be all for now, I'll do my bestest to try and make more entries in the near future.

Front Page NewsTwo nice surprises in one? Yes it would seem that this super, mega, awesome company has finally got the respect it deserves in the form of a new RvB video that's been granted 1st place on the Xbox dashboard's wall of news, congrats!

So, what was this amazing new video all about? Only a little game called Halo 4! It's great that we now have a release date (November 6th), but what's better is being able to catch a real glimpse at how things will look (graphic-wise),

Oh yeah, almost forgot[smiley6]. I mentioned in my previous post that I'd beaten Mass Effect 3, which obviously means I have an opinion about the ending(s). Well, after much thought and listening to podcast #160 AND constantly checking Google news and Youtube, I have only this to say: ".....IT.....IS......FINE!"

Game of the Year= Mass Effect 3

Oh, like you thought it would be something else, lol!

I don't care how much work has gone into Halo 4/Bioshock Infinite/Boarderlands 2/MGS: Rising (Revengence) or any other game that comes out this year - IT WILL NOT BEAT THIS!!!

It looks like Bioware has pulled the same trick as Valve did in early 2011.

Mass Effect Race Right off the bat, I want to make it clear that this is not an achievement race to perfect either game. No, this is a race that involves me correcting any mistakes I made in my male Shepard playthrough i.e. saving Ashley rather than Kaiden, and also, if there's time, do a complete FemShep playthrough. So far I've completed ME with my FemShep and begun my male Shepard playthrough (I have no idea why I started with FemShep). I should also point out that my male Shepard is Lv.60, so I thought "Ok, if I'm doing this, I may as well try to do it on Insanity"...Big Mistake! Even when you have the best weapons/armor, the enemy still takes fucking forever to die! At this current moment in time I'm trying to help out the crappy colony on Feros.

However, that's not the end of it; In a previous post I mentioned that I'd ordered the N7 Collectors Edition of Mass Effect 3, or in other words - the BEST version of ME3. Recently though I've been thinking about the Kinect functionality within the game. Kinect is really starting to revolutionize the way we play games, whereas the Playstation Move is just a crappy rip-off of the Wii, and speaking of the Wii...well, I refer to the comment that Geoff/Gus made about using them as door chocks - Nuff said. Now that I've re-watched the Microsoft Press Conference and the new 'Better with Kinect' trailer, I've sortof come around to the idea of owning a Kinect. The trouble with that is coming up with the money to buy it. I'm a collage student who works at a garden center, I can't just waltz out and buy one, so there's the 2nd part of this race - Save �100 by the end of February.

By the time March 9th comes around I'll hopefully have; A male Shepard who's been through ALL of ME and ME2 (and not fucked up once!) AND an Xbox Kinect. Who knows...maybe even my FemShep will be ready in time?

Why am I doing this?......
......Quite simply, I want the ULTIMATE Mass Effect 3 experience that I can possibly get. In the post where I talk about buying the N7 edition, I said "I normally don't give a damn about any kind of collectors item. But this is different, for a few reasons" -- Read those reasons again!!! I honestly can't sum up the Mass Effect Series better. I'm going to end this post by going out on a limb and say that Mass Effect 3 will more than likely win Best Game of the Year.

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaand I'm done!

"The Name's Chief... Master Chief"How's this for a New Years Resolution?... WRITE MORE JOURNALS!

I just got my Achievement Hunter T-shirt today and I immediately put it to good use by 1000 pointing Halo CE: Anniversary. After about 1 hour, I realized I had bought way more than just a shirt. It wasn't long after this realization that I got the last achievement, making this the 3rd game I've perfected

(Oh yeah...I still got it!).

This run-up to March is going to be so tight (time-wise) as I'm attempting to play right the way through both Mass Effect and Mass Effect 2 with a female Shepherd BEFORE Mass Effect 3 hits shelves....UGH!

In any case I know that when the time comes I will be ready for the arrival!
