Weekend WinThis has been the weekend of champs and "winning"
To kick off the weekend we played a game of lacrosse up in Olds, as per usual this season we barley had enough players to play and still came this [___] close to beating their significantly larger team in an upset (later i learn that i broke my thumb in this game). And thus brings a close to my Friday night.
Saturday is the dawn of a new age so to speak. It started fairly normal, woke up, worked on the deck, watched TV, you know the important stuff  . but that night i decided to go get drunk with the guys. As you would assume any night would be like getting drunk with the guys involves lots of stupid stuff such as who can break a piece of wood on the others torso, which later evolved from stupid to down right retarded as we advanced to trying to break pieces of wood that were on fire on each other. My girlfriend was kind enough to film my "friends" beating a piece of timber against my abs. I can proudly say i took it like a champ .
So after a night were nobody remembers what went down we consult the video's, pictures, and drunken text messages to plot it all out. Maybe realize we need to get a life . I notice my thumb is the size of a grapefruit! and to add to that pain, i have another game!
This game is where everything gets turned around. still undermanned and injured, we played our asses off. A quote from a spectator in the stands after the game was "watching you boys play made me think you were the globe trotters of lacrosse" and we were exactly that as every motion, play, and battle was perfection as we beat the team in a total land slide 
And now to finish the weekend off i am sitting here with my hand bandaged and my body bruised. Its time to play the waiting game to view season 10 episode 1 of Red Vs Blue.

Dissapointing loss...So kicked off the 2012 season this year for Junior Lacrosse. a basic run down of the game is the first period consisted of both teams scoring back and forth on one another, totally even play on both sides.
Second period, our team got tired but still managed to double them in all stats except for goals as they (Olds) increased their lead by 2 goals. I myself received a penalty for cross checking.
Third period. Well the title says it all as we had opportunity after opportunity without success. our ultimate downfall was ourselves as we let our temper get the best of us and kept getting penalty after penalty. I think we played 10 minutes straight of 5 on 3 for their favor.

Silvertips Home Opener!just had a realization about 5 minutes ago. This Sunday the 22nd of April is the home opener game for the lacrosse team whom i play for! its a bit frightening seeing as how we have only had one preseason practice so fan and in addition no pre-season games. Right now my primary hope is that the other team is just as rusty as we are really not ready for this season to kick off. Still non the less if there are any RT fans who live in the Calgary or even Alberta area to come out to Crossfield to watch what i hope will be a great game of Canadian box lacrosse.

COMICON!So this afternoon i have been trying to sleep off the bit of a flu that i got and my slumber was disturbed by a phone call from my girlfriend who had BIG news... She says to me, "babe i love your lacrosse team and all but ive got to set my priorities straight." At this point im thinking oh god this cant be good. then she finishes off by saying. Stan Lee is coming to Calgary Comicon! so now im thinking how is this relevant, but she finishes by saying. "We arnt taking that road trip up north for my game cuase she got tickets for the two of us.
looks like im going to comicon! now my only issue is i am lacking in a proper comicon costume... feel free to give opinions on who i should be!

Start to a long ass day...well its now 3:36 in the AM and im just gettin ready for my shitty minimum wage job, and as i was doing this i decided why not kick off my profile for RT. So here i am ive posted more pictures then i care to remember and i am now writing this blurb on how shitty it is to work at 4AM! So now ive gotta run but as an after thought bitching about my life on a blog has been pretty relaxing, i think i will try and do this like once a day or something. i hope by doing so i can satisfy the needs of any stalkers i have or will gain over the years.

EDIT: So my day ended up going shorter than i had thought. Long story short i got sick and left 5 hours into my shift, now i have all day to sleep! I say this calls for a beer and a bucket!
