VelocityA month ago I joined a church group called Velocity at Bridgewood church, it has been an amazing and eye opening experience for me and the entire group. its the first local church group that is for collage age peoples and me favorite part is that our Pastor (John Rocko) is not only 24 but one of the coolest people ive had the pleasure to know.

Brandon IdolFinished the Brandon High School Idol tryouts last night, we had students ranging in age from 12 to 18 with such god given talent. after it was all said and done we settled on 21 out of 32 to be able to compete in the competition. its Wallas crazy to find out how many people are so grate at singing and opt out of basically free choir and voice lessons.
It was cool to see so many returns to the competition from last year and how there voices have only gotten better.
and a special congratulations to the 3 students that scored 100's on there auditions.

Country Music MorningHonestly im not a fan of county music, but i did grow up on Johnny Cash, Bob Seger and Hank Williams Jr. Any ways my sister blared her damn radio This morning from 6 am to 8amand every time she decided to skip a song it was one i liked. EVERY FUCKING TIME!!!

So FL Studieos Is The SHIT!!!So I've been reminiscing about my old high school days recently, i remembered that the musical was coming up ( I was a Choir / Theater / athletic kinda student back then ) so i got a hold of some friends and they said there was a staff shortage back stage, and being unemployed i decided to turn off the old podcasts and lent a hand back at my old stomping grounds. After the usual hugs and how are you's i worked my way up to the sound booth to talk to the tech students when the topic of my piano lessons were brought up.
As of recent I've hit a skill road block in the self teaching and have gone as far as i could go solo. So my friend Brian mentions that he has this Fruity Loops Studios program that he could give me. He said that all i basically need is the ability to read music and i can project my ideas and produce them. The only problem is that it was very expensive for a 20 year old unemployed and budgeting to start college. Brain continues to tell me that he has no more use for the program and was making the offer to just put it to use. Since then I've been playing with FL Studios and loving every second of it especially since it can format every instrument available to be layed out to a piano roll visual.
Seriously I owe my friend so much for this program and if you have not heard of FL Studios and are interested in advancing your music developing abilities check it out, it is so worth it.
