Prologue: Katze der Toten
(Cat of the Dead)

Joe the Cat walked into the podcast room, it was empty. He walked to the odd shaped couch, as he always did when his owners were away. Joe did not understand how he was back at the office. He just woke up there; in the place his humans had called a “Kitchen”. He climbed up the couch and sprawled out his legs. Then he saw “it”.
Joe, before he left the office, had one mortal enemy. His enemy was cunning; it anticipated his every move with an even better one. Joe played a game of cat and mouse with this enemy every day before he was taken away to the confines of Burnie’s house. This enemy had no name, Joe didn’t even know if it was the devil, or a demon in disguise. All He knew was that it was a Motherfucking mouse.

Joe’s eyes focused immediately on it. He licked his lips, and started to get up. The Mouse heard him, and looked around the room, his eyes conveying a look of sheer terror. Joe began to back up, getting ready to pounce. The mouse didn’t even have 10 seconds to recognize Joe as his teeth clamped down on his neck, and tore him apart. Joe’s mortal enemy lay dead in two halves, bleeding on the floor. Joe began to walk away, his head held high in confidence.
Then it happened. Joe heard movement from behind him. He knew the mouse was dead, so it couldn’t have been him, but he turned around anyway. To Joe’s horror, the top half of the mouse was still moving. It slowly clawed its way to Joe, squeaking and moaning. Joe stopped moving towards it in horror and was frozen. This time, he had the feeling of true terror, and his dead foe knew it. The mouse was almost on him, and Joe still couldn’t move. He wanted to, but he couldn’t bring himself to do it. Why this mouse was crawling towards him, in half and bloody, was beyond his cat mind. The mouse pushed forward one more time and gnawed down on Joe’s paw. Joe jumped back, the mouse still latched on. Joe was meowing in pain, flinging his paw around until the mouse got off. After a few minutes of pain and flinging, the mouse finally let go. Joe rushed towards it, and stomped on its body until it didn’t move again. Joe tapped it one more time just to make sure it was finally dead. Joe checked his new wound, and saw that the skin showing was now turning a sickly green. He disregarded this, and walked away, wanting to get to a room as far away as possible from this one.

Chapter 1: Day of the Undead Blondes

Ray walked into the office excited, today, he was going to try and convince the others to try a cool new Left 4 Dead 2 mod he found out about. Maybe they would make a Let’s Play about it, who knew, but he was excited none the less. He rounded by Kara’s desk, saying “Hi” because he’s awesome like that, and entered the Achievement Hunter Studio.
“Guys, I found a cool new mod for left 4 dead 2, you have to check it out!” Yelled Ray as he leaped to his desk

Michael spun around in his chair to look at him.
“Let me guess; is it another naked Zoey mod?” Michael asked
“No, but that would be a great find.” Replied Ray
“Alright, then what is it?” Michael asked again
Ray went onto steam and pulled open the steam workshop, he typed into the search bar “RT4DEAD”. He motioned for Michael to come over, and he did. Michael looked over at Ray’s screen, and he watched RT4DEAD’s trailer.

Someone had obviously been a massive fan. Not only could you pick from just about all of the RT staff members, but the people also looked exactly like them. The Geoff character had tattoo’s, Jack had a long ass beard, hell, you could even play as Joe (Comically, Joe’s character model looked like a guy in a cat suit.) The trailer brought them through areas like the office, and post-apocalyptic Austin.
“Holy shit ray, that was awesome.” Michael said, breathless

Elsewhere Joe, now feeling really sick, woke up in the hallway. Joe was disoriented, and his vision was off, all he could see was a pale yellow. He heard noise a few rooms away, and walked to it.

Barbara walked into the achievement hunter office very bubbly.
“Hey lads!” She said excitedly
“Hey Barbara.” Said Michael
“Guess who I found sleeping outside the podcast room. I’ll give you a hint, he’s small, furry, and loves the teeth couch.” Said Barbara

My (Incredibly nerdy) fan fic Proposal and sneak peakOk. So this idea came to me while I was doing 2 things. Listening to the deathcraft and cold stream AH lets plays, as playing L4D. So the idea hit me. Why not write a fan fic about the two together....RT and zombies. I mean, if shippers can pair Geoff and Burnie together (and get away with it), then I can write a fan fic about the RT guys surviving the undead. All while spinning a comedy-horror narrative. Shaun of the Dead style.

After working really hard today on the first chapter and character outlines, here I show you, two of the characters spoilers for the fan fic.

Summary:
A survivor of the Texas Zombie Plauge, his office was the start of the Plauge, so he and his colleagues are now under custody by the New Austin CDC and qaurintined. As the Plauge spreads to the rest of the USA, we may have to take drastic measures and put down all those qaurintined for public safety.
