Impending waves of hate/admirationI'm staying off the internet for most of today purely because I know that the successor to the Xbox 360 is getting revealed at 6pm (here in the UK) and honestly I'm hoping to avoid the sheer amount of hate, frustration and straight up "Oh my god, it's the greatest thing" that usually happens with this kind of thing. It also happened with the PS4 reveal so hopefully by tomorrow it will have died down.
If you read all that and feel like I've cheated you in some manner allow me to apologise with these two words;

Stage frightMaybe once, twice a week I'll go on to Roosterspeak with a lot of guts and bravado, intent of talking to everyone, making myself known and getting to know everybody, make some friends.
Instead I log in and usually will just instantly freeze up because everyone else is so deep in conversation I can't bring myself, a tiny mouse, to speak up whilst the great big lions are talking.
I never knew High School was on the internet :L

Not so alone...In my hometown of Wakefield here in the UK I've always felt like one of the only kids who enjoyed Rooster Teeth, when I went to college I met my friend Conner and discovered he liked it too and that was awesome, we've been friends ever since.
Today though I went on the RvBUK group page and I was quite surprised at just how many fans there are in the UK, I guess I'm not as alone as I thought :D

This week I introduced my girlfriend to World of Warcraft, yeah I'm one of those boyfriends who gets his girlfriend to play a bunch of different games and watch TV shows in the hopes of her falling in love with it.
It worked, by god it worked. She immediately took to World of Warcraft, I had to help her out to start with but quickly enough she took to it like a duck to water, it was so cool and oh god I felt so in love with her whilst we played.
Nerd boner I guess you could call it.
