Random ThoughtSo the big Facebook meme right now is to do the whole pink square with the pink equals inside. Apparently that translates into equality for the GLBT people. But with all that aside, should there by a half blue, half pink for the picture? I mean, pink on pink (this is me with my father-to-be mindframe) would be girl/girl. So is all of Facebook saying that equal rights are okay for lesbians, but not for the rest of the cloud? Does boy/girl not fit anymore? Does boy/boy not get an equal share? Does boy/girl&boy or girl/girl&boy get equally shunned? Is ?/? allowed?

Disclaimer: before someone starts flaming (no pun intended) on this journal, i do believe in equality. But I also believe that a marriage is boy/girl. I wrote this only to point out how silly the meme is, not to spark a political debate.
Okay...i have to say that i was a bit skeptical on this one. I didn't think it was going to be a decent pick. Its an independent movie, which [in most cases] usually means lots of bad acting and/or nudity (perfect way to spend a Friday night right?).
This movie, as a satire/spoof of the classic D&D gamers, got away with all of it (sadly, no nudity ). The acting was not great, but the comedic value pretty much offset the entire thing. I have to say that for an evening expecting a stupid film while brushing away some time, this one was quite acceptable.
I have been addicted. Worst of all, I can play from my phone, which makes it even more addictive. And not to say that the game doesn't have it's ups and downs; specifically the worst thing about the game is the fact that you cannot just park you ships at an inn or a savepoint and have them safe for the night. There is no township you can stick your stuff at like in World of Warcraft, go away, come back and it's all safe.
No. If you leave your toys out, you risk losing them and having to rebuild. This means cunning, dedication, and all around time consumption. AND it is where I have been for the last few months.
Other than that, it's been good. Bought an iPhone for me and pennyco, bought a new laptop (the MacTop) for myself. Have Halo Reach on reserve for myself, as well Lego Harry Potter on reserve for he wifey.
