Monty OumHe was one of the few cast and crew I had not gotten to meet in person, and probably the one I wanted to meet the most. The introduction of his creativity into the RvB world absolutely turned it upside-down, I never expected to laugh or cheer as hard for my old favorite characters as I did when Monty's art brought them to life in the most fantastic ways possible. Outside of his brilliant artistic works, he never failed to make me laugh whenever I saw him talking at panels or jumping onto a Podcast. As much as we all miss him, I'm sure we all know that the RT crew and his Family feel so much more strongly. I just hope they know that any of them can always feel safe to come here if they are in need of a shoulder to cry on, we have many open arms willing to help. Monty Oum's work will take his name, memory, and brilliance much further than his tragically short time of this world was able to carry. As Matt suggested, in memory of Monty, we should all go forth and create something beautiful. We should aspire to create something to bring a smile to others lives just as he did, no matter how small.
Have phone, like quizes?I've been more than a little addicted to the Quizup app for a while, and I always love having more friends to challenge! They have some pretty cool topics available and they are adding more all the time, I've been playing "Name That Car" and "The Dresden Files" a bunch lately.
Unfamiliar TerritoryIt's odd days like this where I remember that since I've been hustling and bustling from work and school for the past few months, I actually forget what to do when I have free time...
For the recordThe behavior of some people in the community regarding the RT Podcast/Whats Trending episode that happened during SXSW, was completely unacceptable. That kind of ridiculous whining and short-sighted immaturity is not how we present ourselves to the rest of the world. Even if you don't like something, there are better ways of communicating that opinion.
