The video in this journal is just part of what do for the pharmaceutical company I work for. It is some amazing stuff and I am glad to be part of a big team. I know it might seem like a lot of science talk, but the important thing is that I am part of something big and that is the best I could ever dream of.
Update (03/30/2012): Additional radio stations have been treated to the Headlong Flight single. Grover Collins, the Program Director at WUBE/WYGY in Cincinnati, OH tweeted the following yesterday:
Just heard new RUSH single from upcoming CD "Clockwork Angels" called "Headlong Flight"...Old school RUSH fans rejoice! It ROCKS 74-77 era! While Mike Hsu who works at WAAF in Boston had this to say: Just listened to the new Rush song "Headlong Flight". My pants are tight!..and moist from losing control of my bladder during the massive Alex Lifeson solo.
Update (03/28/2012): The first (okay, third) single Headlong Flight will hit the airwaves on April 19th however it will be edited down to about 5 1/2 minutes. It appears that a special Clockwork Angels listening party for journalists and industry executives was hosted by Rush's record label, Roadrunner Records. According to several people on-hand, the first new Rush song off of their upcoming Clockwork Angels album is titled Headlong Flight and clocks in at over 7 minutes.
The news comes from Lou Brutus of Sirius XM who tweeted the following: In studio right now w Mark from Roadrunner listening to new tune from called "Headlong Flight." It's awesome. #ByTorIsASnowDog Dominic Nardella (the program director at 92.3 in Cleveland) tweeted this as well: Just heard new Rush song "Headlong Flight" ..... Holy Fucking Shit!!!!! 7 and a half minutes of pure genius!!!!!!
I haven't had goosebumps like this in years. This is Rush at their finest. Seriously. Fuck this is amazing.
OH YEAHHHHH!!!!!Well as many of you know I am HUGE HUGE HUGE fan of the Canadian Progressive Rock band Rush. And those that don't then.... sorry you didn't catch that message. Okay onto the good news.
Rush is going hopefully release their new album "Clockwork Angels" in the spring of 2012 with a Summer tour to follow. This is one of the most anticipated album releases for 2012 according to Guitar Magazine. I can not remind you guys how stoked I am.
Caravan and BU2B are just two of the songs from the upcoming album. I sincerely hope that some will say to themselves it was worth the wait. Others can just tune in and listen, but the rest of us Rush fans will be so happy to hear some new music and it is going to be AWESOME.

Awesome SuperBowl Last night was an incredible SuperBowl and I have to give the Packers a lot of credit for beating the Pittsburgh Steelers. Great job and congrats . One of the other things that made last nights SuperBowl awesome was the commercials. There were a good number of funny ones, but my all time favorite was the Doritos pug commercial. The pug that was in the commercial reminded me of my sisters and brother-in law's pug named Guinness. That pug is an AWESOME pug and there is a close resemblance.
