Its been a day or two...since i wrote a journal entry. I tell ya, journal writing just isnt my thing. But i guess i shall attempt an entry. I'm gonna watch both Sahara and Pride and Prejudice tonight with my girlfriend. If you haven't seen either of these movies I highly recommend them. Two of my favorites anyway. Yeah so there's my journal entry, short and sweet. Its been a day or two...since i wrote a journal entry. I tell ya, journal writing just isnt my thing. But i guess i shall attempt an entry. ...I dont really feel like writing, but the last journal entry has been up for a while. Also, don't expect me to write anything soon unless i feel inspired or something. So yeah, hasta luego

i got tagged...1. I've never broken a bone
2. I don't have my driver's license yet
3. I've only been to 4 different states amd one different country
4. I'm reading a Tom Clancy book called "The Teeth of the Tiger" right now
5. I despise smoking, I just cant stand it
6. I have led a small group bible study in my youth group
7. I got a 1970 on my SAT
8. I really want to go on a long vacation, but I probably wont be able to until I can pay for the whole thing by myself
9. I want to become a veterinarian
10. I am contemplating trying out for varsity basketball next year

Something I needed to sayJeremiah 29:11-14
11 For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. 12 Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. 13 You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. 14 I will be found by you," declares the LORD, "and will bring you back from captivity. I will gather you from all the nations and places where I have banished you," declares the LORD, "and will bring you back to the place from which I carried you into exile."
So many of these people on here do not believe in God or Jesus because they cannot "see" them. Personally, I don't know how you can not see God's power and realness when you just take a glance outside. But I would like to point the atheists and agnostics and all the others that don't classify themselves in a religion to verse 13. The only way you will truly know God is when you seek him with your entire heart. Once you do that, you will see the workings of God in your life and in other peoples lives. There is no such thing as a half-hearted Christian, you either are or you aren't. Some of the people on here who label themselves as Christians are also in need of reevaluating their faith and not making people pissed off because they are pressing Christianity on people. We are called to be lights in this world of darkness. For that let me point you to Matthew 5:1-12
The Beatitudes
1Now when he saw the crowds, he went up on a mountainside and sat down. His disciples came to him, 2and he began to teach them saying:
3"Blessed are the poor in spirit,
for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
4Blessed are those who mourn,
for they will be comforted.
5Blessed are the meek,
for they will inherit the earth.
6Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness,
for they will be filled.
7Blessed are the merciful,
for they will be shown mercy.
8Blessed are the pure in heart,
for they will see God.
9Blessed are the peacemakers,
for they will be called sons of God.
10Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness,
for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
11"Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me. 12Rejoice and be glad, because great is your reward in heaven, for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you.
Follow these attitudes that Christ himself laid down and i guarantee that people will be affected by the way you live your life. You don't have to say a word to them and only because of your actions, they will accept Jesus. You should live for the day when somebody says to you "Why are you so happy all the time?" because then you can share the awesomeness of Jesus with them.
Wow this is a long journal, but I felt like I needed to say something, so i did. I'm off to a birthday party, so have a good day all of you!!!
