After a semi-long absence...Sorry for not being on the site for a long time. Work and personal stuff got in the way. Lots of stuff happened.
My dad was home for both Christmas and New Year's for the first time in almost 8 years. He was really happy spending his first Christmas with us.
I got promoted all of a sudden earlier this month. One of the staff's moving to another country to work in her new job anytime soon. I started working on the things I need to have as a permanent regular employee (e.g.: social security and the like).
I finally have my own laptop of my dreams. I use it as a gaming/GIF-making system. I'm super happy with it.
Regarding GIFs, due to my busy sched, I ended up not getting to make GIFs weekly. I might be making the ones I didn't get to this week since I'm gonna be on a week-long medical leave.
Since I was talking about medical leave in the post above, I am currently on leave starting today 'cause I underwent dental surgery (had a wisdom tooth removed because it was starting to get painful). I won't get into the details but right now eating and drinking and talking is very hard.
I can't wait for RWBY to be premiered. Super looking forward to it!
That's everything for now. I didn't get to greet everyone in the past holidays but here it is. Belated Happy Thanksgiving, Hanukkah, Christmas and New Year's to everyone!

When a Bond film gave me the feelsSo we went to the city to watch Skyfall, had KFC for dinner and a buy-one-get-one-free gelato from Gelatissimo (the two-week valid promo came with the tickets) before we got back home and it was really fun.
But flagnammit, Skyfall. YOU MADE MY FEELS UNCONTROLLABLE.

IT. HAS. ARRIVED.A month ago, Drew messaged me on my Tumblr if I wanted an autograph of Gavin since he was attending RvBTO. I was so happy for Drew's offer, said yes and sent him my work address in advance.
On August 5 local Philippine time (August 4 in Toronto), Drew posted a snap of Gavin and an autographed printed photo of him wearing the Stealth Symbol shirt from the RT Store.
Today, I finally received Drew's mail at work. My boss mom handed it to me when I got back from the bank.
I opened it and there was another envelope inside it. excitement building up.
I opened the contents and my heartbeat happily quickens.
I was surprised to see this first. Drew got Burnie to sign a photodrawing of him with the Movie Magic effect from the Rooster Teeth Productions Facility Tour short.
The next autograph was the one I've been waiting for.
Seeing these autographs gave me all the happy feels!
This is one of the best times in my life! Thank you so much, Drew, Burnie and Gavin!

Post-earthquake updateMy mother got home safe and sound the night the earthquake happened. No one at the mall where she was having her dinner meeting felt it but only she and her colleagues. No aftershocks were felt in our place for the rest of the night.
Also, a huge thanks to everyone on RT and Tumblr who sent their concerns and well wishes during the incident. I'm thankful to have friends like you guys. Internet hugs all around!

Oh no not again.Remember the time I shared to you guys about the earthquake our place and some parts of the Philippines experienced?
Well...we just experienced one again minutes ago.
I was in the shower changing when my sister just went inside and called me. Right now, the only people at home is me, my sister and our maternal grandmother who's staying in for the night. Mom's in the city for a dinner meeting. My sister told me she felt an earthquake minutes ago. After she asked me if I felt it too, I also felt the shaking and saw some stuff swinging.
We both went out of the bedroom and tried calling mama. All cellphone lines were dead. We’re right now switching watching shows on ETC to the news for updates. My grandmother went out of the guest room and told us that she felt it as well.
I tried calling mama again and she said that she and her business partners also felt it and are also on watch.
Some parts of the Philippines also felt it according to the Yahoo! article I read and is currently raising a tsunami warning because it was an intensity 7.9. We’re all now on high alert. Please pray and hope that we’re all gonna be fine, safe and in one piece.

Movin' on upThree weeks ago, I've been offered by my boss another job position (as of now that's what I can describe it) at the place where I work. One of the staff went on indefinite leave and the boss couldn't juggle two responsibilities at the same time. And since I always have lots of free time whenever the office is quite she decided to give the job to me. She also told me that the new job is also a big step-up from my current monthly trainee allowance pay since I'll be a regular permanently and will be given the same salary as the other employees.
At first I was hesitant to accept the offer since the latter involved a lot of math and memory and for the time being I was happy with being a trainee consultant and a messenger. I also told my boss and the other business partners that there might come a time in the future that there's an even better opportunity outside of the office walls and/or the country and I will possibly accept it (since it's been a dream of mine to work overseas and/or work with anything that involved handling cameras although I need to lean more and possibly undergo workshops and training), but they said that I can handle it and it won't be as difficult and complicated as I thought.
Another thing is that for now, the current job was a better career choice for me since I don't know where to really work right after graduation. My dad has been forcing me to apply at the place where his younger sister's working but I didn't accept it 'cause I felt like it wasn't a suitable career for me. We've fought about it for a couple of times and I really don't want to be pushed into something I really don't want and what others wanted me to do. 
So for the past two weeks I underwent go-throughs with the staff who went on leave and showed me the ropes on everything that I need to do. While I underwent with those lessons I also started thinking if I should accept the new job or not.
But then the staff's last day came and I didn't have enough time to decide. But since I really wanted to experience something new and even more rewarding and can probably open new and better opportunities for me in the future, I accepted the job.
So yesterday I started my job as the office's cashier/accounting assistant along with my current two jobs. At first I underwent some bumps on the first day but then I started getting used to it and eventually I get to master a few of the responsibilities I was given. Things went great today as well. 
So to summarize things up, I'm movin' on up. I hope this new job's gonna be a rewarding one.
