Internet problems So, we had a power outage that was so bad, it fried the router. Reason why you shouldn’t put off getting a surge protector that’s at least 2 years old at minimum. Thankfully, the modem still works. So I have to stand in the computer room with my laptop hooked up to the modem directly by cord. In fact, this entire thing was typed up on a word document, and I just copied and pasted the entire thing. Did the research. The new router, plus the cost of a new surge protector comes up around $150 bucks. Gonna be a pain in the ass hooking it up, too. Hoping I can get this all done in under an hour (excluding the time to purchase the equipment). I fucking hate power outages. The HolidaysSo, my birthday is coming up on Dec. 21st. And I'll be 22.
Another year older. Another year wiser. Another year of bitching and moaning to work on.

blahSo, on the dark side of things, I have to work Thanksgiving & Black Friday back-to-back. And my entire family is pissed off about it.
But on the bright side, Netflix just put up 4 seasons of burn notice on instant replay. So I won't be seeing the sun for a while.

The Wisdom Tooth Horror part 2So, Had the wisdom teeth removed at 9:00AM Right now, its 3:50PM and I'm still swapping out gause pads. I won't lie, more painful then the last wisdom tooth extraction. It was the bottom two. They had to drill, and afterwards it started to hurt. Took the pain medication and one of the Amoxillian pills while swapping gause after the first hour. Probably going to need another one at 4:00PM (Took the first at 12PM). I feel more comfortable when I take power naps (alot less drool and less pain). The next three days will suck. The Wisdom Tooth HorrorBeen reading way too much H.P. Lovecraft during my lunchbreak at work. So that explains the Title.
So, this friday, at 9:00AM, I have an appointment for a wisdom tooth extraction for the bottom two wisdom teeth.
Thanks to my job, I pay for my own dental insurance. Without dental, I would pay about $1,100 , even though I'm only getting local done (no sleeping gas). But thanks to my dental insurance, I only pay half of that ($504; excluding the price of the antibiotics and painkillers).
The bottom two teeth are not empacted, and one of the girls at my job (who also works at the Dental Surgeons office) says that I might not need stitches. However, if I do need them, at least stitches now of days dissolve, eliminating the need to have them surgically removed.
So, this friday, that means no breakfast, and I'll probably need my dad to drive me back home and pick up my meds afterwards.
Thankfully, I have at least two days afterwards to recover, but I'm gonna have to be careful. With the pain medication I'm going to be on, I can't operate heavy machinery. And heavy machinery is a part of my job description. So after this sunday, I'm gonna have to play it by ear.
Knowing my luck, I'm gonna come back from the operation, pop a painkiller, and then realize that I've had a drug enduced blackout that's lasted two days.
On the bright side, I did some recording for other videos. During my recovery, I can do some editing.
Oh well, wish me luck.

Steve Jobs dead at 56Yeah, this story does kinda hit close to home. My poor uncle Paul died from Thyroid Cancer at age 50. He was my dad's baby brother by a 9 year difference.
So, now that we have that unpleasent bit of news out of the way. I'm considering going out this Halloween instead of staying inside like a shut in. But I don't know of any good parties going on. Plus I have work that night, so it would have to be something that starts by 10PM at the latest.
Anyone in the NJ area know of anything going on?
