FTX! (Field training exercise)

Going Saturday morning with Delta Company (JROTC, mind you.)

I probably won't be on Friday, 'cause I got some things to do and it will probably tie me up.

Any who, we got issued our pistol belts and canteens today. I would like to mention that the canteens, I do believe, were made in Hell. They smell awful.

On a side note, we had discipline training today. The officers basically went around, trying to make you lose your bearing or make you laugh, and if you did you got in trouble. The only reason I was given push ups was because I didn't think a joke was funny, and my boot was untied (Go figure.)

So.....after tonight, I'll be back Sunday afternoon. Have a good weekend.

One year.

It's been one year! Hooray! I made it!

I would post shout outs to all my friends, but I'm lazy. But, I'd just like to say you guys (My friends) are awesome! Thanks for making the RT experience the best.

All eighty-four of ya!

You see people in NC....

By NC, I mean the state, North Carolina. You know, the place I went to last summer - to visit my dad.

I realized I never shared the story of who I saw there;

First person was Santa. No joke. We were eating at some restaurant and we we're joking around about a guy a few tables away. He had a white beard, red suspenders with a white long sleeve shirt (No read pants). My brother and I said he looked like old Kris Kringle himself and what not.
Well, when we exited the restaurant, we saw what seemed to be his van. Various bumper sticker decorated "Santa's other sleigh" "Forget horsepower, I've got reindeerpower" and to top it off his license plate was "K Kringle"

Talk about Christmas in July.

The other person I thought I saw was Geoff. The same guy that does the voice of the orange dude.

We were coming up on this truck with Texas license plates, the driver's arm sticking out the window had tattoos on it. I didn't think anything of it until we passed the guy. The driver had pretty much the same facial hair and hair cut of Geoff - although I can't be sure because my dad drives like a maniac on speed. I doubt Geoff was in NC last June though.. I don't think the driver had enough tattoos on his arm to be Geoff anyways.
Tl;dr = Santa is real, I saw a Geoff look alike.

Done.

Finals are over and I'm officially done with my Science, Math, and English Classes for the school year!

Also, in jrotc I moved to an Assistant Squad Leader position. (Very rare for a 1st year to be put in that kind of position.) I don't know if it's temporary or not, but makes me happy!

Also, I'm for Christmas break! For the next two weeks I have nothing important to do!

EDITJanuary 16, 2010 As of last week, I got the permanent job of Assistant Squad Leader. I got moved to first squad, too. Hopefully one day I'll get the rank.

Catching up.

Got lots of it to do.

Won't probably be back on a regular bases until a break.

Oh well.

So, who have plans for Halloween?

October 2nd, 2009

Forget it.

I was saving this journal for something special (Some pictures of an event I was in to be exact. I couldn't get any pictures. Fail.) but, well, it's taking too long.

So.

I'll be online a bit more next week because Delta and Drill practice is cancelled all next week for spirit week or whatever they are calling it. I get to march in the homecoming parade on Wednesday though!!

Tomorrow, I won't be on much for I have my very first Drill meet, homecoming crap (I'm not going - just going out to eat with my brother and his girlfriend who are going), then I'll be somewhere else for the night. I haven't decided what I'm going to do yet.

Also, if any of you paid attention to my profile before I lost my sponsor ship (In which I regained) I had the title LRC. That stood for Leadership Reaction Course.

Best time of my life that has to do with team work. Ever.. The LRC built a lot of team work and leadership stuff, loads of fun.

Before that event some of you may not know I went to the mud run- lots of fun too. I got pictures - none of them have me in it though . lol.

Eh, that's about all the eventful things that have been keeping me tied up.

So, what's been up with you guys?

Hmm.

I'm considering writing a Fan Fic. The question that stumps me is of what?

Freelancers - done so many times. I don't want to write something that people feel that they are reading the almost the same thing.
Rvb - I'll leave that to the professionals.
Halo - I'm a little weak in that subject. I haven't read the full series and I never played the game.

Any suggestions?
