Perfect timingSo since last time I had enough time to blog, I got a short term acting contract! I have been acting in theaters across the UK for the last 2 months. amazing stuff.

Not only that but the first part of the tour ended the day before RTX so I was able to catch pretty much everything that I wanted to over live stream.

Hoping to use this time off to catch up with more gaming and then get back to work in August!

When it rains it poursToday someone got back to me about a musicians job in Nottingham. Shame it comes two days after a better offer. But as they say, when it rains it pours so I'm expecting a few more jobs to come my way that I can't do.

Just Helped my Friend Macbookboy complete some Halo:CE Achievements as well and picked up How Pedestrian for myself.

All in all a good Saturday.

5 weeks to go before I start. Can't wait!

The life of a Freelance ActorSo, since the last project I worked on I have had no success in finding work.

Normally this would be terrible, but its given me time to workout and game a lot more and be a lot more creative. So when you find yourself at a loose end. do something about it!

But in 5 weeks time, I have a 4 month contract and get to travel nationally and go to the Edinburgh fringe festival again!

This freelance thing is so hot and cold but when its hot, its the best.

The thing about TwitterIs that It really works in relation to finding work. Work that you wouldn't ever hear about. Today I saw a tweet, Retweeted by a company who Tweets and it was for a 20 something, pale, skinny, male actor.

It might not come to anything, but if I'm not all of those things, I don't know who is.

Something New: Being a Freelance ActorFor the past two years I have been working for a theatre company in the UK which allowed me to game as well as act and do design. This has come to an end and means I don't have the same income or time to play video games or even have a home for long periods of time (feel a little like Marshall)

I thought it would be a good idea for my own venting but also the immortal representation of life as a Freelance Actor.

So far it has been an adventure letting me clock up over 4000 miles in the space of a month, Living in 5 Different Counties and 3 Different Countries. I have done 2 weeks of Volunteer work and sent in excess of 150 emails for jobs (of which I have had one back for 3 Weeks of acting work in December)

Hopefully this will be a little more entertaining and have me playing my Xbox soon and catching up with all the games I have missed out on over the last 2 months. (well the last month, not like anything came out before that)

Alrightwell I had a day of gaming today. fun times. It involved a bit of N+ which i decided to actually get some achievements for, Battlefield 1943 which still keeps me entertained and Fallout 3 which is just pure awesome and made it hard to focus on the other two.

I also had time to finish off my daily post on Technicolorflipbook.com in which i did a 30 minute drawing of a robot in prep for a mini series for the site.

Thats all folks.

UpdateOk, So about two weeks ago i finally got Technicolorflipbook.com up and running and have been working on it every day since. I acutely hope to carry this on and not let it die as projects of this nature always seem to.

The website is basically a Tutorial, Design, Art, Photography and Review site.

I also went out and got Fallout 3. So far very impressed. After playing Oblivion it defiantly made it easier to inter-grate into Fallout 3 and i'll be writing a very positive review on it at a later date.
Battlefield 1943 has been played nearly non-stop around Fallout.. It's one of those things now where I can't wait for the Fall releases but I'll be torn between the two I' playing at the moment and buying into the new blood.

Another Review that I will write this week will be on the new Dashboard update on the 360. So far pretty impressed with the tweaks and nothing buggy or annoying.

Good times.

Well thats a brief catch up and hopefully i can post more updates or a regular basis.
