Pain. So much pain.This is day 4 of intense shoulder/neck pain. I'm no medical expert, but I'm not sure there should be a popping sensation deep in my shoulder whenever I roll it? I've tried heat, cold, alternating heat and cold, nothing...it's not really going away. And I have to move out of my apartment this weekend, which requires lifting things...
As if all these life changes were enough to deal with. haha.
Anyways, I finished my last final on Tuesday, so I'm OFFICIALLY done with law school! I also scheduled an interview at a firm for next week, so fingers crossed! It would be amazing to not have to search anymore...
That's all the life updates for now. Back to boxing and wondering how I accumulated so much stuff.

Spiders are Intelligent.I know that everyone has heard that saying "spiders are more afraid of you than you are of them." I am now, and forever more, calling bullshit. This one hides behind water fountain spigots, waiting for some unsuspecting library worker to come refill their re-usable water bottle. As she stands, pushing the button and pondering the mysteries of the universe, he slowly creeps towards her hand until she sees him, jumps back from fright and splashes the contents of her now partially filled water bottle down her front. His job done, he retreats back to his coveted spigot, to await his next victim, while she now must suffer in silent third for the next 3 hours of her shift. True, I could be the dominant species and go squash him where he stands. Maybe when my heartbeat returns to a normal bpm. 7 DAYS!It's just 7 days until my law school graduation! I still have 1 final to take, an apartment to pack up, and a million and one job applications to put in, but it's almost here! AHHH!

Spring Break Can't Come Soon Enough...Or Can It?So, this Friday I am driving home for Spring Break. It's kind of bitter sweet. I am excited to see my family and everything. This will be the first Spring Break in 3 years that I haven't visited my bestie in Sacramento, though. I miss her face. Not to mention, it means that this last semester of school EVER is REALLY flying by.
I don't think I'm ready to be a real adult yet. I still like sleeping in late, and playing Bejeweled Blitz on my phone...

Punxsutawney Phil Can Bite MeI'm starting to get the impression that he popped his fuzzy freaking head out of that little hole of his, and while we were so busy looking for a shadow or not just gave us the middle groundhog finger.
Last night we got pelted by freezing rain, which is supposed to continue until this afternoon, then switch to "Wintery mix" before dumping another bout of snow down on out asses. It's March for heaven's sake. I'm not convinced that Spring is ever coming.
BOY, am I glad that I only have a few more months of Iowa before graduation!

Counting Down the DaysThere are few things I hate more in life than snow. This being the case, I have often wondered, over the last 3 years, why I decided to attend law school in Iowa. Last major snow storm turned out to be a dusting. This minor snow storm turned out to be a blizzard.
I might just be bitter because I drove to school today to get my fingerprints done for the Bar Exam. Of course, the e-mail said THURSDAY, which I read as Tuesday. Normally, I wouldn't have gone to school at all today - I braved snow and Iowa drivers (who, ironically, cannot drive in the snow to save their lives) for nothing.
I should have stopped at the store on my way home to get stuff to make cookie dough and I didn't. That was mistake number 2 today.
