Help, I'm alive.Listening to "Help, I'm Alive" by Metric. Pretty good song. So I have 2 jobs, and I start school the 23rd, and my retail job is driving me insane. Honestly, it really is. I love the discounts, but I cannot stand how people leave all the clothes they didn't want in the dressing room in a huge pile just for us to sort out when I could be doing better things with my life...I don't even get good pay. Minimum wage. Stupid. I get paid 8 an hour at my other job...so I'm thinking of quitting it and just working in the office after school. I get that not liking your job is just life and I gotta suck it up and get over it, but I want to do something other than retail...grrr!!!
I've been playing all the Halo games (on easy, I'm still a n00b.) And I've beaten Halo and Halo 3 so far on easy. I'm working on Halo 2 at the moment. I <3 the Scarab and just blowing everything up haha. I love the scene when the Chief is given the tank.
Cortana (to Johnson): Thanks for the tank, HE never gets me anything.

Hahaha, yeah. As you should know, Tucker's not in Halo, but I thought his line fit perfectly with the dialogue there.

(I know not many people will see this and it's a little pointless to carry on with my blogs, but I'm from a small town and there's nothing to do and nowhere to go on a Friday night. How pitiful is that?)

I wanna celebrate and live my life,So I'm really starting to realize that this is pretty much one of my last summers of total freedom. My jobs are part time, I don't have to worry about paying actual bills yet, partying and going out with my friends, staying in with my family, and I've been trying to push college as far away as I can. But that's all coming to a screeching halt here. I go to get my college schedule for my freshman year tomorrow. Going from senior back to freshman isn't a fun thought, haha :( I put 4 of the best years of my life into that school and now I gotta do it all over again! -sigh- But I'm sure many of you have been there, and will say "it's not that bad. Really." And I get that. But it's always hard to transition from sleeping in til 10 or 11 to getting up early to go back to school. BLEH!
I've recently been spending a lot of time, and I do mean A LOT, on MLG's website (mlgpro.com). I'm trying to pick up as many tips as I can for being an MLG coach. I just recently got an Xbox 360 and have been playing campaign for Halo 3 during almost any free minute I have, and haven't been on LIVE much so I don't really know any of the callouts....maybe it's just me but it's a little hard to memorize all these different names for different maps all at once. -sigh- The study-nerd in me just wants to print out pictures and make flashcards...who knows, maybe that's what I'll end up doing. I don't know. I just need to hurry up and find a wireless adapter for CHEAP for my Xbox..not having any free spending money really sucks. But anyway! Me, my boyfriend Andy, and my best friend/practically brother Dylan are putting together an MLG team to compete in the Halo Reach combine in D.C. this October. I've got until the 15th of October to get all this stuff learned. Yayyyy me! Haha... xD
I'm ridiculously excited for the tournament in D.C. because this will be my first MLG event, and I'm hoping I'll have some spare time to head over to the main stage to watch some games! Especially Final Boss. So far they're my favorite overall team :)

Red vs. BlueRed vs. Blue is possibly, without a doubt, the funniest internet show I've watched since...well, ever! I mean, Arby 'n' the Chief had it's moments, but RvB trumps them hands down. Sorry, Chief. But anyway! I've watched just about every single episode of RvB (but am a little behind in season 8 because of working 2 freaking jobs -_-) I know that just about nobody will see this post, and that's alright. Doesn't really matter because right now I'm just bored out of my mind waiting for my laundry to get done. Exciting right? Back to the point! Haha. Who's your favorite character from RvB and why? Mine's Tex, because Tex is a badass, super skilled, a total smartass and bitch, but we all love her for it! She's totally the opposite of most stereotypes of what a girl gamer should be like. Sister, on the other hand, is just that. Annoying as hell, ditzy, and unaware of what's going on around her most of the time. Also, do you have a favorite quote from RvB? Just about anything Caboose says is my favorite...he's stupid but lovable :) "Well at least I don't go around knocking on peoples non-doors and promising them cookies AND THEN NOT GIVING THEM COOKIES!
