Alan WakeHey guys! Guess who's sleeping with a flashlight tonight... This girl!
Alan Wake is a fantastic game (I cannot stop playing). However I do warn you, if you are afraid of the lights going out, this give you MORE reasons to be afraid of the dark.
I highly recommend the game to anyone brave enough.

Veterans DayThis makes me think of my grandfather. He served during the siege in the Pacific in WWII.
He died many years ago, I remember the man, but not as well as I wish I did. He was kind-hearted and loved all his children and grandchildren. I remember the holidays we spent visiting him and my grandmother. They were so happy together. With him gone, things just went out of place for my grandma.
We all miss him.
I was informed that even if I was old enough to know better, he would not tell me about WWII if I asked him. He wouldn't speak of it to even his own children. But I guess it would be something to respect, to imagine what he had seen and encountered would be impossible..
However, to the veterans still living today and to the soldiers currently on active duty. I hold nothing but the deepest respect for you...Thank you.
I had one class today. Great thing, it was also pretty cool to see a lot of people being enthusiastic about Halloween and being all dressed up. One girl I passed had this weird mask that looked like a red mouse with blank eyes and a creepy smile. I asked her what it was, she said it was Deathmouse..I think. But she also had this radio hooked up to it that emitted a deep static noise like 'hypnotoad' from futurama...never have I felt more creeped out by a mask.
If you think that was odd, wait till I get to the good part. In class, we were working on an exam..but the next thing we know there was shouting. Everyone looks up and there is this guy dressed as 'Where's Waldo', and he's running around the lecture hall and pissing off the professor. Then he runs into someone dressed as a freaking gorilla! He shouts 'Holy shit not the gorilla!', then it attacks him as they both run out.... Everyone in the class taking the test then started clapping.
I hope to god someone caught that on a video camera.
To the people who have seen it, you can contribute too, just go to www.rememberreach.com// and even better if you have a facebook account because that way you can see the point of light you contributed and where it was put. For the others who don't know what I'm talking about, it's a video of a robotic arm drawing a picture/statue of Noble Team out of dots of light. It's rather beautiful..but I'm still guessing as to why they decided to make it. It might be just a send off for the series in general.
note to those in Bungie Brotherhood: I did not catch the news article with the whole memorial of light before Reach came out. I'm slow to find things when I'm focused on school so don't get angry at me when I'm last in line.
