TodayIs just a crazy day. I'm pretty tired of being in college. I really don't think it is for me, honestly. I just sit in class and wonder "What the fuck am I doing here?!" I still can't answer it. I don't even know what I'm going to do when I'm done. Where do I go from here? What can I even do?! Sure, I have dreams about what I WANT to do, but is it even realistic?
In other news, I am excited to get a Vita, despite the fact that I can't really afford it at this point. Shit, I can't afford anything. I have about $30 left in my bank account.
So...I notice that I have two people watching me, but I don't post anything. This makes me feel bad, so hello to the two of you! And now for an update of my unexciting life!
Um. I am in Augusta this weekend. (If you didn't know, I moved out to transfer to another college in Statesboro, Georgia) I really miss this place a lot. I don't feel like I really belong in Statesboro at Georgia Southern. It's a party school and I'm not a social person, hence me being on here all the time. I don't particularly enjoy drinking, both because I find drunks obnoxious and because I see no point in it when I could be watching a movie, reading a book, or playing a game.
Anyways, not a whole lot happens in Statesboro, though I did see The Grey last weekend and it was excellent. I also got 100% on Lego Harry Potter Years 1-4 last week because I really have nothing better to do.
Now, for upcoming news! So exciting! I feel like nobody has read this far, but I will continue nonetheless. I am getting my PS Vita this month so that I have something to occupy myself, despite the fact that I am severely lacking in funds of any sort. My truck is broken down and I'm selling it back to my dad for like $800. School shit. I am about to start reading Maus and Ender's Game for my creative writing course though, so that's exciting. That's about everything going on with me!
If you made it this far, thanks for reading! I appreciate you being so interested.
A Letter to PETA from EA/DICEDear PETA Representatives, We here at EA/DICE sincerely apologize for the way we treated pixels in our recent game Battlefield 3. We regret placing pixels on the screen in the general visual form of a creature that has never existed. We did not wish to offend, but that rat was biting that pixel hand, and we did not want our pixel hand to catch pixel rabies because of said biting by said pixel rat. We felt that in order for pixel man to not be sprayed with pixel bullets, it was best that he did not place pixel rat in his pixel pocket in order to save the pixel rat from such a terrible environment, because we believe pixel rat might have had pixel AIDS, and we could not risk spreading this pixel AIDS to all the other pixel rats that were not created for our game. We felt that the most humane thing to do was to pixel put the pixel rat out of it's pixel misery. In a soon to be released patch, we will be editing out the pixel rat and placing in a pixel baby, because we know you at PETA would much rather that be stabbed than said pixel rat. We hope to maintain your friendship in the future. We will be sending pixel rat with pixel AIDS and pixel rabies to your headquarters for further care. We know you'll treat it right. Your friends, The Pixel Pushing People who Populate Pixelated Populaces in Pixelated Places.
