CollegeSo...I've been going to college online from the University of Phoenix since December and I recently finished my first semester. I got an A- in GEN105 and a B- in COM140 and am in week 2 of CRT205 and COM130. I am working towards an Associate's Degree in Web Design and I have 13 valid transfer credits from the Navy out of 20-something, meaning I will have my AA in about 1 year, or less if I CLEP out of some of the easy classes that I saw in my schedule.
Now I just need to bug the VA to start giving me my G.I. Bill money.

My new jobAfter being unable to find a job for 7 months after seperating from the Navy, I finally got one. I'm now working for ADT Security Services in Aurora, CO doing data entry. I starting my training on the 11th and I am bored out of my mind. With the exception of 2 people (who have worked for ADT in the past) I am the most quailified person in the class of 20 people. We are the new batch of people working in ATS in the CMC (I'm so glad I can use acrynoms again), and on the 13th, we were learning how to use a computer, check company email, how to navigate a program that doesn't have a GUI (example, press S to go to the Services page). I've been chugging Red Bull's and I'm still doing the head bob. A friend of mine who used to work for them told me it will get better and that this is going to be an endurance test for me.
I have to get up at 3am to get ready and catch the bus, damn busted car. I get off around 2:30 and it takes about an hour to get home, and by the time I'm there, I have almost no energy left, so I've been missing my video games, my Grifball has been suffering. Bum Rush 5 was hard since I had been up for 26 hours when it started, never been so glad to be knocked out in the first round.
