Eragon ReviewHere is my movie critique for Eragon.

Eragon is a fantastic novel, with amazing dialogue, an exciting storyline, unique protagonists and antagonists, and action. Every part of it was written beautifully, and the story skillfully made. I wish I could say the same about the movie.
I saw the movie last night with some friends. Coming into the theater, I was as excited as can be, for I had been anticipating the release of this movie for almost a year. I was all smiles when the film started. As the movie progressed however, I grew more depressed, as the movie was not what I expected at all. At the end of the movie, a part of me wished that I had not seen it.
Heres where my bitching starts...
-First of all, This movie left too many things out from the book. If you want to make a 500 pg book into a movie, you should make it at least 2 hours or longer, to make sure all the necessary elements and important characters are included. This movie left out Solembum, Katrina, and several other characters who will eventually add to the plot of the 2nd part of the triology. Now, if they make a 2nd movie, theyre going to have to introduce al these characters, which will no doubt, take a small chunk of time out of the movie.
WARNING: SPOILERS
-And what was the deal with Angela. She looked like a freaken hooker.
-Also, Saphira's voice was a little too old, and motherly if you ask me.
-The Urgals were a bunch of bald, red eyed men with tan faces and beards. They looked like Mexicans.
-Dialogue was so horrible. It was so cheesy. The same 2 lines were repeated like 8 times. "one part brave and three parts fool"
-Durza looked like a retarded old man in dire need of chapstick.
-Was Eragon wearing jeans in one scene?
-Were the Ra'zac killed? They didn't really explain what happened to the Ra'zac after Eragon's first and only encounter.
-The battle at the end was way too short.
-Arya seems more human, than an elf in this movie.
-Saphira isn't all too beautiful.
-All John Malckavitch did was sit on a chair. Ohh, wait no, he got up once...
Okay, some good points to the movie -Jeremy Irons was a pretty decent Brom, too bad he dies. -The actor who plays Eragon, Edward Speleers was actually a good actor. -Sienna Guillory didn't really act the part of Arya well, but she looks the part. -Saphira flying was really exciting to watch. -It has a happy ending for Eragon, who isn't lying in bed because of the wound from Durza's sword.
END SPOILERS
It was a decent movie all in all, though I might be biased as Eragon is my favorite book of all time. They didn't do a good job setting the story for the next movie.
For acting, I'd give the movie a 7 out of 10 stars For battle scenes, 6 out of 10 stars Diaglogue, 6 out of 10 stars Special effects, 8.5 out of 10 stars Music, 5 out of 10 stars Storyline, 5 out of 10 stars
The movie as a whole, 6 out of 10 stars
* My apologies for making this so long. I just had alot I wanted to put into writing.
