Final Fantasy VI Advance - GBAMy three favorite SNES games, in order are:

Earthbound
Final Fantasy III (now VI)
Chrono Trigger

I've been waiting for this port for a loooong time, but it's been worth it. The new release is a highly polished version of the game we all know and love and have probably played through more than a few times. Everything is there, and the game benefits from a much better translation that the original. They've added a few really nice touches, like giving NPCs such as Kefka, Ghestahl, and Cid character portraits during their dialogue. There is a mild amount of slowdown in many instances, but it's not bad enough to really detract from that game all that much.

Hopefully, Nintendo has figured out that the best way to get my gaming dollars will be to put out ports of those other two games I've listed up there. FF6A is the first game that I haven't bought second-hand in a while, and the last one I did was FF3 DS. See a pattern here?

SNES games... Mine would probably have to be Super Mario All-Star and Kirby Superstar... I think those were for the SNES.
Good console.

Nintendo can port Earthbound, but Chrono Trigger is owned by SquareEnix. You'd have to talk to them about a port.

I've never really played much of Final Fantasy. I'm not a huge RPG person.
