Brushing inOkay, so i'm killing some time tonight, and we all know what that means....
Jump on netflix and see what the expert computer readouts says is my optimum movie. Tonight's was
The Gamers: Dorkness Rising
Okay...i have to say that i was a bit skeptical on this one. I didn't think it was going to be a decent pick. Its an independent movie, which [in most cases] usually means lots of bad acting and/or nudity (perfect way to spend a Friday night right?).
This movie, as a satire/spoof of the classic D&D gamers, got away with all of it (sadly, no nudity ). The acting was not great, but the comedic value pretty much offset the entire thing. I have to say that for an evening expecting a stupid film while brushing away some time, this one was quite acceptable.

The movie was pretty decent. Seeing as it was an indie film, the special FX weren't out of this world. But otherwise a very good experience.
