It's throttled to your specific usage, since you make like 3 posts a day, the ALMS cross posts should take you about 12hours.

I'm having problems internet wide. My phone is having trouble connecting, Facebook is super slow, among other things. I think its a nation wide data failure.

Probably not, but its easier to blame it on that than something else.
