Best video I ever madeA few of you know my friend Phoenix. He is a RL friend of mine and a huge gamer. He had an accident at work over 2 years ago. One of the machines malfunctioned and ended up ripping his left thumb off. While he was in the hospital I had the idea to make a custom controller for him, one that didn’t require the use of his left thumb. It was my get well present to him. Since then I’ve made 2 more, as his current one wears out. Here is a video of me making one.
Note: The extra button that I put on the bottom is an alternate LS button. I started adding this button when I made the second controller. I found, while testing it, that it was very difficult to click in the LS using your fingers

Dude that is awesome. I didn't realize that's what happened to Phoenee; you always just said he was having a tough time at work (though I suppose I probably never asked why or anything).
Seriously though, good for you and my best to him. And that's awesome you're able to do that; I look at circuit boards about the same way I look at Asian letters.
How does one click the B Y X A buttons with a controller like that?? (byxa is swedish for pants).
