Back to life...back to realityWelp, it was good while it lasted?
13-months no work and finally now I'm back to Tripoli and back to work. Good times.
Kinda weird greeting your old co-workers and saying, "thank God you're safe". Normally its, "hey, how was your vacation?", but nope, just this awkward "glad you're safe" moment. Still its a pretty good thing seeing your friends/coworkers again.
Things haven't really come back to full swing persey in terms of work. still waiting on international companies coming back to Libya and getting some projects back up and running.
So that's work life, now game life: In Tripoli, NON EXISTENT! I've been playing the crap out of Mass Effect 2 back in Benghazi, and I've been sweeping the game, getting all the planets and personnell and stuff just so I can have a full crew at full power before going to take on the collectors.
I have to admit I'm playing as Female Shepard (for the same reason Jack does), and I just have to get this out of my chest: Fucking Jacob is a pussy! I understand if its harder for female Shepard to get it on with aliens and stuff, but Jacob going "MMhhhhmmm" and "We got a good thing going Shepard, let's not rush into things" seriously pisses me off. I'm like, WTF!? Seriously?
alright i'm probably blowing this out of proportion, but he just pisses me off, that's all i have to say. Gonna have to play through it again with Male Shepard--As I Should Have In The First Place--and be rejected properly like I do in the real world...by a woman.
Hmm...oh yeah, so I have the 360 here, but no TV yet. so gotta get that fixed. ME3 is probably out by now and I I can't wait to get my hands on it. Batman AC is still in my to-do list too. got lots to catch up on.
Anyways, things are good here. Not nearly as bad as i thought. Everyone in the country is going into a new debate of whether it would be beneficial to have a Federal Government or just work around a De-Centralized government. lots of hot debates. we'll see where this leads to.

As for Jacob- I wanted to romance him. Really wanted to. Didn't work out either time and it made me like him less and less. Thane is a good one, even for an alien. And ME3 is out tomorrow, March 6th in the States. Can't wait!

Interim leader, El-Keeb, came on TV yesterday and said basically what I said, "You can't build a country in four months, that's just not realistic no matter where you are".
still gonna have to keep hoping for the...
Mass Effect is really takin' the news this week! My friends are hella excited. I've only watched my brother play, though.
Huh, a de-centralized government is a fascinating proposition. I wonder how exactly that would work...
ME3 looks amazing. I really can't wait to get my hands on it...probably in six months or so [[ here's to hoping prices will be much lower by then ]]
