Trials Evolution: A ReviewSo yesterday I mentioned that I was downloading the trial version of Trials: Evolution, so that I could try it, and decide whether or not it was worth buying. Well unsurprisingly, it blew me away...And i decided to pay for the full game.
Though the physics may be slightly unreal at times, and the pure fails may be highly irritating, even infuriating at times, not recommended for those quick to anger, Trials: Evolution is a very fun and fast paced little number. The multiplayer features within the game have the potential for hours of fun, and heavy competition between friends, and the customization options give you the opportunity to ride courses looking sharp as hell, even astride a Fluorescent Pink Steed if you so wish.
Courses are once more set up as Beginner, Easy, Medium, Hard and Extreme, and these are true to their name, prepare to find yourself on over 50 Faults for the extreme tracks, though I have been told that the lower levels are doable in 1 take, though from personal experience, I'm currently doubting that. Though not for want of trying.
I'd count this game as one of the must buy games of 2012, it's taken them a few years, but it was most definitely worth the wait. I don't know about the rest of you, but this game will infuriate me for a good while, at least until the next one comes out.
Trials Evolution is available on the Xbox Live Arcade, and costs 1200 Microsoft Points.
