GCSo the Gold Coast was awesome. Supanova was really cool except for the ridiculously stupid entry line system they had. Dad and I lined up in the wrong line for an hour and a bit before realising :/ But once we got in we had a heaps good time. We even saw a couple of guys you may or may not know of :P
Inisde the actual centre on the Saturday was PACKED. So full of ppl it took ages just to walk around and look at stuff. But somehow on the saturday Dad and I got to see almost all the booths. My favourites were the Hanabee booth and any of the Star Wars or Marvel booths :P
I spent over 150 bucks and I didnt actaully buy much. I finally bought the Season 9 soundtrack cos i refused to pay and download it on iTunes and i was too lazy to order it from the store lol. So i saw it and grabbed it as fast as i could :P I bought a Batman beanie, cos its gettin close to winter and i need somethin to keep my head warm lol. Oh and I also bought an awesome Darth Maul belt buckle. For those who dont know, i collect belt buckles and this is my first Star Wars one.
I saw this shirt opposite the Hanabee booth, needless to say i laughed my ass off.
While walkin past a booth that had Tablets, Scheree couldnt help herself :P
The best story from the weekend i think was Dads. He went to line up at some film festival booth to get the guy to sign something. That bored the hell outta me so i left him there. While i was gone the guy behind Dad saw my RvB shirt and dads RvB shirt and asked whether we were fans. Dad said that he kinda was but it was mainly the son. He then went on to say that he called me one time while i was in Austin TX and I put the phone onto Geoff. The guy's jaw dropped. He was in awe, dumbstruck that Dad had talked to Geoff on the phone. Dad said "Apparently thats a big deal".
it still trips me up when you say "It's about to be winter" I bet you're glad you get to come to the states for a month.. it's gonna be nice and hot here for you.
