More kittensSo besides my episode review, It occurred to me that I haven't written a journal in 2 weeks.
..hmm.
SO HERE'S ONE.
I am currently caring for 6 kittens.
Houdini- A long haired, black, runt of a kitten. His eyes are currently fucked up due to...whatever illness her has. Treating them with special medication. He's doing alright.
Karly- A short haired, Torbi. When I took her home, I thought she wasn't going to make it. She couldn't breathe out her nose, and she constantly gasped for breath. She's now queen of the household, and when her sneezing clears up, she'll be returned to the shelter for adoption. She's also best friends with Omega.
Nessa- A short haired Torti. She's having the same problems as Houdini with her eyes. She's very sassy, and adorable.
Gamma- A short haired, brown Tabby. He originally had no name, but I decided on Gamma because he seems like this cute, sweet, timid little kitten, but he can be such a brat at times.
Prince- Brother to Runt. I'm really worried about him, because in the past couple of days, he's stopped eating, has had nothing but horribly smelly, uncontrollable, watery bowel movements. I'm having to shoot mushy food down his throat to get anything in him. Keeping an eye on him. He's showing all the signs his brother had before he died.
Complainer- Okay, this doesn't really have a name. She's a gray and white long hair. She came in with 3 other kittens. I found one dead after an hour, and she wasn't looking well either, so my supervisor let me take her home to keep watch. ...She's very...odd. For a feral kitten, she sure acts spoiled. She whines a lot when she wants something. She prefers sleeping on shoulders, even when I'm moving around. She won't eat out of a bowl, but a syringe is just fine. She's unbalanced, and she'll stare at you like she's trying to understand WTF is going on. She's currently isolated from the other kittens, so she doesn't get sick, and because she's not active like the rest. She'll run around for maybe..15 minutes, before she lays down to nap for 3 hours. Very odd...
In other news, my dad and I super cleaned the house. He moved his Total Gym, and we got a piano. When i walk around it's like the house isn't even ours anymore. Huh...
