RTX Journal: SundayI really should have written this a while back because now it's all a blur. I do however remember watching quite a bit of AH Horse competitions while waiting in the RT merch line. I was quite excited to finally get a hold of the Drunk Tank pint glasses of which one of them will play a bigger part in the awesome-ness of the weekend later on.

But let's backtrack a bit. @baghdadbean and I attended the Barlympics Saturday night. I got to meet some awesome people (which I will name later) and as I wrote before, I got my butt onto the Kinect Dance Central stage and danced a round with @IDivideBy0 So around 2am Bean and I trudge back to the hotel room, and I don't get into bed until 3 or so. Fast forward about 2 hours, and I'm up and at em again so I can attend the RT post apocalyptic production shoot. @Burnie had ask all attendees to wear something other than RT attire, so I decided to go with my "Nerdy Chicks Rule" shirt.

While making my way to the location of the shoot, I met a cool dude named Adrian (@ aww102 ) who hails from the land waaaaay across the pond. Unfortunately, due to the different in our badge numbers, we were separated. He ended up on 7th street and I ended up on 9th or something. I actually walked by @Joel but he was getting makeup done, so I refrained from saying hi to him. Few steps later, I walked by @Ben and he was sporting a mighty fine looking megaphone. I finally made it to my destination and made friends with a couple of women named Jen and... Samantha? I think...

Within two hours, we had done about five different takes of us just hitting the ground when they gave the signal. Never have I had more fun laying face first in the middle of a street. A camera had panned around me when we were walking and doing our normal bits, so I'm hoping that MAYBE I get to see a glimpse of myself and/or my geeky shirt. In the final shot, I was laying next to a cute little golden retriever, and I'm quite certain I got bit by several ants. All in all a great day for a shoot!

A lot of my time was also spent waiting in line for autographs. I managed to get most of them. I really wanted Joel's, but his line was so long that when I was even halfway getting to him, his hour was up and he left the table. However! One autograph that is quite special to me was from John Reed, the man behind the voice of The Director. Those who know me well enough, know that I participate in a podcast called The LFTO Shizno. And those who listen to it know that Burnie was kind enough to do a tagline for us. Well, as a surprise to my fellow podcasters, I asked Mr. Reed if he could read a line for me. He did. And I gave him the biggest fucking hug I could. I <3 you John Reed.

So pint glass in hand, and in between making food runs for Bean (who was still working the registration booth) I met up with Leaf and co and we attended the final panel of the entire convention. The Freelancer Panel. HOLY. PHUQING. DONKEYBERRIES. I had such a blast! All the freelancer voice actors were present, the questions were fantastic, and it was non stop entertainment from the word go. Seriously guys, Shana Merlin (who voices South) is the cutest, sweetest bitch ever. Of all time. Shannon McCormick is absolutely hilarious in person, Jen Brown ROCKS these amazing glasses and she is such good fun. Everyone was a blast to listen to.

After the panel ended, I waited patiently to get my pint glass signed by the entire cast. I missed out on John Erler because he had another gig to be at, but he signed my badge on Saturday. One of the best moments for me was meeting @kzuelch for the first time in person!!!! She asked me what my RT profile was, and I said Kriss, and she gave me a big ol hug asking me why I didn't say hi sooner. It's such an awesome moment meeting one who you consider a great role model. I took pictures with the cast, and I even got @Matt to sign the pint glass as well. He said using clear nailpolish will help sustain the marker on the glass surface. I told him "Wow... and I thought all that stuff was good for was pantyhose." "Well, bring those next time, and I'll sign em!" I'm going to hold you to that Matt!

The panel let out way late, and the convention was over. I made my way to the registration booth to see Bean, and lo and behold, who do I find walking alone by himself? @Joel . YAY. In retrospect, I probably shouldn't have yelled "YOU'VE GOT TO BE FUCKING KIDDING ME! I WAITED IN LINE FOR YOU ALL DAY!" as a hello, but what the hell, I got a hug out of it. We spoke for a bit about Vegas and my dogs haha. Even to a RT cast member, I'm known as the dog lady. I snagged a photo and autograph from him, thanked him and left him to the mob that had gathered around us. Sorry about that Joel!

After dinner with Leaf and co I go back to the hotel room where there is a beer exchange of sorts, I can't really remember... and the next thing I know, I'm rooming with @Myshu and I'm up at 7AM.

This journal is really fracking long, so I will write about the Sidequest event: Salt Lick in the next journal. It's not as sexy as it sounds, but it is delicious!

Something that seems to be consistent with everyone: Lack of sleep!

I am sure glad I came up and started talking... well, I completely grabbed you. I won't apologize.

I totally didn't make it to BarLympics from the Music Mixer at the Convention Centre that night. Sounds like I missed quite the party! Then again, I might not have bumped into you on the way to the live action shoot otherwise!

Those ants! You're not a real extra in an RT shoot 'til you get bit by one.

And now I'm jelly that you got to see all of that Freelancer panel.
