My CompositionsDid you listen to the recordings of Oye Como Va and Mercy Mercy Mercy on MorrisseyMan's journal? I played drums on that : D Well heres some recordings i did all by myself.
The first one is media.putfile.com/Dangerous-Teddy-Bears I originally wrote it when i first picked up my mums old guitar that she never played. I knew nothing about playing guitar, but i made up this little riff. I didn't have Adobe audition, to put all the recording together, as i played first guitar, second guitar, sang vocals, and drums. I recorded them all using this little michrophone in the computer, so thats why the quality isnt that good. Then, would you believe, i put all the sounds together using Macromedia Flash, which isnt really a music program at all. Then i exported audio, and theres the finished product - Dangerous Teddy Bears. The song spawned my idea for the opposing band in JeremyThomas, Wilshire117, Asheboy, and my Flash movie we made last semester, which you may be able to have access to watch someday...
The next one is media.putfile.com/I-Hate-Christmas Its a recording me and JeremyThomas did for a school music assignment. The task was to write a song for a musical of Bad Santa. We decided the concept would be Bad Santa singing about the time Santa didn't visit him one Christmas, and thats why he hates Chrismas now. This recording is a bit better, coz we did it with a proper recording desk. Its only got Bass, Drums, and Vocals. Enjoy.
The final one is Zit Happens, but I haven't got it to work yet, look out for it on one of my future journals.
So thats all of them. They are a bit dodgy, not something you'd play at a party, but still, they required effort. I can't wait to hear what you think of them.
