Play UpdateRecently I have been going back through my unplayed and unfinished games since getting my Xbox down to my flat in London. Some fantastic titles that I have only recently played were Assassin's Creed Brotherhood, Revelations & Halo Reach. I eventually came to Dead Rising and the only achievements I had left were the dreaded 5 Day & 7 Day Survivor -__- What a grind to finish them especially when we had a power out on day 4! I ended up getting bored and listened to some old Rooster Teeth Podcasts and I grabbed a pen and paper and sketched out this: Although I'm sure you recognise some if not all of the characters, they are (Top Left) Naruto from Masashi Kishimoto's Naruto, (Top Right) Ichigo from Tite Kubo's Bleach. I ran out of spce for the title under him haha. (Bottom) Link from The Legend of Zelda. It's been really long since I've drawn anything since moving to 3d but I think I'll make some time for it again.
Work UpdateApologies for it being so long since I last updated my journal, my job at Framestore has kept me super busy since I started. In fact one of the commercials I have worked on has just aired worldwide. It's Pepsi 'Kick in the Mix' featuring a whole host of football (soccer if you're American and reading this) superstars and DJ Calvin Harris. You can check it out here We in the Houdini team worked on lots including creating the CG crowd extension with all their mocap animation cycles & all the laser lettering. Write in the comments or drop me a message if you want to know more

Gift for Gus finishedI've been extremely busy lately with getting packed and ready to move to London, but I managed to find some time to finish off the modelling project for Gus. It's based on this episode from the Rooster Teeth comics by Luke McKay & Griffon, which Gus has as his avatar picture.
Hope you all like it! I might find some time to maybe do Burnie next.
New Job!Just got the phone call in today that I'm going to start working for Framestore Commercials in London as a junior Houdini artist. Framestore is a VFX company that creates amazing visual effects for film and video. I'm really excited and can't wait to start working for them! Check out some of Framestore's work over at their website
Gift for Gus half way thereI've pretty much finished the modelling stage for my gift for Gus, moving on to texturing, rendering and post work should be fun. Can't wait to finish it and see what people think of it, expect it very soon.
Daft Punk Work In ProgressHere is the first progress render of the Thomas Bangalter Daft Punk helmet after a good few hours modelling. Going to model something for Gus whilst finishing up this model
New ProjectJust started a new 3d project. I'm currently working on modelling the Thomas Bangalter helmet from Daft Punk. I wanted to ease myself into some helmet modelling working my way towards some the pretty complex Halo helmets. Expect to see some images soon.
