I only used LA as an example because it has a similar population to our largest city. It is not the only city with more crime/murders than my country.
I didn't explain myself too well on that one. I was trying to avoid bringing religion into it.
The whole thing was about perspectives! I did say that stupidity speaks louder, so I know that that's not what the entire country is like. In my sleep deprived state I neglected to mention the good aspects of America (though at that time I was hardpressed to think of many)
I wasn't aiming to diss the country, I was just stating my perspective of America, based on what I've seen. Correct me if I'm wrong, I don't want to see things differently to how they are. I know I can be very blunt at times, calling things how I see them, and that is how I see it, until proven otherwise
