My life as from January (prt 1)January:
I tried XTC, and loved it. My first time was on new-years eve. It was a great night with my best friend, his brother, his girlfriend and another guy. By the time the fireworks started I was tripping as hell so you can imagine the effect of lightshows and continuing bangs on my state of mind.
Stopped smoking weed and worked at a nice company. I got as much away from my room as possible; because I had been wasting my life at home for most of my free time. Then i got the sack because i got sick. Bummers, but i moved on and got another job.
February:
Still working, trying to find a better job. I also moved to another room cuz I couldn't stand my corridor anymore. The night before I moved out a friend of mine threw a big 18-Party, and I had no choice but to go there, take XTC and pull an allnighter. The party was awesome. When I got home at 7 I was still tripping, but I still had to pack 3/4 of my stuff!!
So in 2 hours I managed to pack most of it, still tripping and with nice energetic music on. Then my cousin came by and helped me with the last couple of boxes. We moved stuff to my new room in a shopping cart (which is a very practical thing on short distances)
Then my parents came by and we moved the larger things.
During that weekend I had also drunk 20 cans of energy drink, and when i pulled a new can open next day I almost puked, so I never drank that stuff again. That weekend was one of my highlights so far.
March:
Several jobs later, and lots of parties later I signed up for free government money (for people that don't work) but the very second i walked out with the papers I got called by my job-bureau that they had a nice administrative job for me. I threw the paperwork away and I still work there. They pay well, and since I work there for 34 hours a week, I had arranged that I'd work 4 days and have a 4 days weekend every 2 weeks.
April.
Working for the money, spending it at high rate while chilling and partying as much as possible, i managed to save up some too.
On weekday nights we played lots of Risk, and did that for a couple of months. Not all the time, otherwise we would get bored of it too fast.
I also started smoking hasj because it doesn't come with lots of the disadvantages weed has.
May:
Still going good, CGD came back from his year in America and we chilled out. When I went out at night because i didn't feel like sleeping I went to a coffeeshop and met this tourist who was tripping his head off. After a good conversation I told him he should get the most expensive hasj I know: 44 bucks per gram. Amazingly, he followed my advise and bought 10 grams of it!!! My eyes were popping out as he came back with a huge block hasj. Staying seemingly calm, i offered to roll a joint for him. He said: 'sure, you'll probably roll it faster than me in this state.'
I said: 'No, i take my time. But you can be sure I roll better joints in ANY state of mind, then you being completely sober. Simply because i'm Dutch.' I rolled him a perfect joint, with about 1.5 gram of that hasj. 66 bucks in one joint; I thought this is my one time oppertunity, now i'm going for it. With him on speed (he had taken a mediocre line that morning, and still completely on it at midnight, I smoked 2/3 of the joint. Amazingly, I was still sitting in my chair. I was still able to communicate. After a while the tourist went on his 'way, and I turned to the shopkeeper. 'Dude, didn't he just buy 10 grams of the most expensive hasj?'
'Yes, he did.' the guy replied.
'Okay, I've smoked over a gram of that stuff. How is it that I'm still functioning well? For 44 bucks I want to end up under the table! Sorry man, but if that's your quality I have to find myself a better shop.'
Well, actually I didn't say that, but I did find myself another shop.
