BackWell, I just got back yesterday. The CYLC was, needless to say, fucking amazing. I'm just now returning to my normal routine, just in time to mention that I'll be going on an extended break from the forums.A few reasons: 1.) I missed a lot while I was gone, not just here but in the real world. So now I've got a pile of real world work I need to do. 2.) I miss writing. I've been kind of slacking off in that department, and I want to pick up the pace again. 3.) I'm just now learning barre chords on the guitar. And while they hurt like a motherfucker, I think this means I'm going to have to practice more frequently. 4.) I'm trying to get a job. For money and such. 5.) I'm going to get a permit soon. For driving and such. 6.) SATs are coming up soon. For . . . college and such. 7.) I'm finally trying to break that habit of yelling at everybody about politics all the goddamn time, and finding some more common ground to discuss with the people I care about instead. Part of that should involve a temporary break from online political forums. I'll probably be back in a couple weeks, but right now I just have other priorities. Anyway, adios until then. |
