I'm still relatively new to the Rooster Teeth community so pardon me if I sound a little noobish. For what I have seen here RTX is some kind of convention where gaming and internet meet. But, from what I have just read (with the sold out announcement), it appears to be a limited access event almost like a concert with a set amount of tickets. So, once the tickets are gone, you are SOL.

I live in nearby San Antonio and was thinking of going up there on the first day and pay at the door but it appears that it doesn't work that way here. Am I correct in my assumption?

Events have capacities. The amount of available tickets and the amount of people we planned the event for is the number that we sold. Sorry dude!

Attending an RTX event is on my bucket list. Even if my ass is hooked up to an Iron Lung and I'm in a hospital bed I shall attend. I'll even try to bring some hot nurses.
