      Long Forgotten Something

Whoa...I haven't been on here in months. I'm not going to lie to any of you (who may be reading this), I almost forgot about this place.

      Where does the time Go?

Wow, it's been a while since I last logged on here. For all of those who missed me terribly, I sincerely apologize. For those who didn't, don't worry, I don't hate you. Anyway, on my end, life's been...sudden. I hit eighteen a couple weeks ago and within a few days had a car, job, and started my college classes. Gotten into the groove of it for the most part, but still felt like being hit by a wall of bricks. But yeah, that's my excuse for not being on here so much anymore. That, and Facebook has taken the place of "Primary Social Network Site" for me, sorry guys. So that's there so you guys can tell that I'm still alive and haven't died yet. Peace out everyone!

PS- I've also developed a strange thing for smooth jazz lately.

      Almost a year, right?

Wow, it has seriously been some time since I've been on last. I can't even say I've been keeping up with Red vs. Blue either. Damn, sorry to abandon you guys like that (that is, if I still do have readers). This time, and I do mean it this time, I'm gonna try to come on more often. But I can't make any intense promises given the reliability of my internet connection speed. Anyway, other than that, not much has changed I don't think. Besides a few things I guess, like my list of hobbies keeps growing:
      -Basketball
      -Longboarding
      -Running
      -Web design
-Gaming (still, and my gamer tag is Mudgama. So look me up!)
      -Juggling
      -Etc.

But yeah, that's my life. I'm about to graduate if that's important to anyone. Haha, anyway, you guys take care! Hopefully I'll be talking to you guys more often!

PS- The new Mortal Kombat is fucking incredible!

PPS- I totally forgot how I used to sign these things. Sorry.

From there I'm touring all over Europe with this big travel organization!! Anyway, biggest point is, I'm not gonna be on in...well, a while. So, I love you guys!!!

      I'm not Dead

No, I'm am in fact not dead. I realize it's been a while since my last login, much less my last journal entry (stating that I'd be online more often). It's just that, life seems to be fond of exploding on me at random and giving me crap to clean up every now and then. But I'm not gonna rage on with the details, point is, I'm back.

One main thing I'd like to ask is: WHAT THE FUCK HAPPENED TO ONE PIECE!?!? I used to be a zealous follower and reader of One Piece, but because of "financial complications", I stepped away from buying them when they came out and took a few month break. Last I checked, I was waiting for volume 21 to come out. I go to Borders the other day and the most recent one is volume 53!! What the hell did I miss? I feel so damn left behind! Why'd it get kicked into SUPER high gear without me knowing?? Aaaauugh! Well, now I have something to spend my money on.

Anyway, that's about it for now, I hope all you guys were able to survive without me and that you're all doing fine! Take care you guys! I'll try and be online and update more often (seriously this time)!

      If you could...

have one superpower, what would it be?

I know this is a really old, common asked question; but seriously, what would you want to be able to do. I always get responses like: "I wanna be able to fly!", "What power? Hm, probably invisibility.", "Flight!", "I wanna fly!" and "Do you even need to ask?"

Too many people go with common, easy to guess stuff like flying or going invisible. If I had to choose one, I'd go with either the stretching ability that Mr. Fantastic has. Or, if I was more into not letting people know I had powers, clairvoyance/clairaudience.

For all those of you who don't know what clairvoyance/clairaudience. Basically, think of it as a sixth sense. There are different variations or kinds.

Anyway, this is just my kind of way of trying to get back into using the site more regularly. I realize I haven't been on in a while. That's due, in part, to my computer having crapped out for the past several weeks. The other part being that I just haven't really logged on since I got it back a few days ago. So, in short, I'm gonna try and be on more often for all those (probably thousands) of you who've missed me so dearly...right. Haha, anyway, how've you all been?!?

      Haiti Relief

Alright, I may not be the best "Good Samaritan", but I'm usually lookin' to help out. I don't wanna pull something "spokesman-y'', but I'm giving you an opportunity to help out too! I'm assuming everyone's heard about the intense earthquake in Haiti at this point. I've got a couple ways you could help out. None of 'em are at all time consuming, I swear.

      1) There're a couple different forwarded text messages that donate 25 cents every time they're passed on. If you've come across any, pass 'em on. It won't kill you.

      2) You can text "Haiti" to 90999 and donate ten bucks to the cause.

      3) Finally, and most impacting to the cause, if you've got a facebook account, you can go to [link:http://www.invisiblechildren.com/home.php]InvisibleChildren.com[/link] and click the big blue "click here to vote" button and it'll take you to Facebook page. Become a fan of Chase Bank (go figure) to vote and if Invisible Children wins this, it'll donate a potential $1,100,000 to the cause! Pleeeeasse help out!!

      Just Good Times

Okay, I know I'm definitely not the first, but yesterday I went and saw Avatar with a friend of mine. Such an amazing and beautiful movie! As gorgeous as it was to watch, everyone who says that it had a very foreseeable plot line is very accurate. I don't think of that as weighing too heavily against it though. It was a really well done piece.

Oh, and so I don't forget to mention it, before going to see the movie yesterday, I went ice skating for the first time in at least four years. It was lots of fun. I'm proud to say that neither myself nor any of my friends fell, although we came incredibly close at times.

Anyway, that's my story for now, and I hope you all have a very Merry Christmas Eve!!!

      Ignore this

I'm just posting some history notes I've taken out of my book here so I can come back and review them later. Don't ask why.

Roosevelt's successor as president, William Howard Taft, hoped to promote U.S. interest without such combative rhetoric and naked force. He described his plan as one of "substituting dollars for bullets"-- using government action to encourage private American investments in Latin Amercia to supplant European interest, promote development and stability, and gain profits for American bankers. Under this dollar diplomacy, American investments in the Caribbean increased dramatically during Taft's presidency from 1909 to 1913, and the State Deartment helped arrange for American bankers to establish financial control over Haiti and Honduras. (pg 184)

Dollar diplomacy increased American power and influence in the Caribbean and tied underdeveloped countires to the United States economically and strategically, but this policy failed to improve conditions for most Latin Americans. (pg.184)

Economic development also disappointed most islanders (in Puerto Rico), for American investors quickly gained control of the best land and pursued large-scale sugar production for the U.S. market. (pg 181)

Haven't even bought it! You must, it's soooooooooooooo good. Finally a worthy sequel to possibly the greatest (and ugliest :P) game in the world. I'd be playing it over and over again but I have a test to study for :(

Maybe, but it's like he said. If Manhattan had cared from the start, a lot of that would never have happened. Rorschach knew he couldn't live with himself knowing what happened and not doing anything. But it was a lose lose situation in the end.

Haha, whoa dude, I graduated like a month ago too.
      -high five-
And you got rammed for that? We were throwing everything from hats, to tortillas to balloons. It was nice :D

      Woot.
Yeah, we were going to throw them anyway, but they threatened to start expelling people from graduating. lol

One hell of a book. One hell of a book indeed. It was an amazing read, but I felt really emotionally disturbed by the end. I blame Rorschach.

Heh, I was pretty depressed when I finished. Didn't know who to blame.
