      Rapid Hope Loss.

Whilst re-merchandising a fuck load of tee-shirts at work today, a customer brought a shirt to up to me & asked a question. His question was this...

      Who's this Dramatatan then?

I stopped what I was doing to think for a second, & thought to myself 'Hmm, who is Dramatatan? It really dosn't ring any bells...'
I stood up from the floor where I was working to try & assist the customer further & that's when I saw that this is the shirt he was holding...

Some people should be put down at birth. It didn't bother me that he didn't know the character but you don't need to be a fucking genius to realise that Dr. Manhattan does not spell Dramatatan.

Has anyone else recently had a run in with dumb?

      * The next person tells of something unfortunate that happens (e.g. Unfortunately, Little Johnny was hit by a refrigerator.).
      * The following person contributes a fortunate event (e.g. Fortunately, the refrigerator was made entirely of marshmallows), and the process is repeated.

      *Warning, melancholy thoughts ahead.

Have you ever felt that the only way to deal with something is to totally detatch yourself from everything it concerns? Even though you know it's breaking the strongest bond you've ever had with a person?

This is another journal about my thoughts on my family moving away. I'm out of the house in three weeks, in five weeks they will be gone. & the only way I can deal with it is to remove myself from the situation, I'm going to miss them so much but I can't bring myself to say so. Instead all I can do is brush them off with a cold shoulder & I hate myself for it. My mum's just been in here trying to get me to talk about it, she left & I'm pissed at myself because I can't bring myself to talk about it. I can't say I'll miss them & I can't say I'm happy for them. Even though I know I will miss them & I know I am happy for them, I just can't bring myself to say it.

I'm so scared at the thought of them not being here & knowing that it is happening so soon is even worse & as I said, the only way I can deal with it is to shut it out because as soon as I try to verbalise it I turn into a wreck.

She says to embrace change & that it will be good for me. But when you know that the security of family is leaving you, it's kind of hard to feel good about it.

      b'aaw.

Although I'm thinking of starting a fresh with a new user name as I really don't like mine. Stupid '71'. [I just got really confused by the lack of smileys. >=|]

So this journal is in true little_chief fashion,
      I'm thinking either..

      Sirjason,
or Jasefayce, which I seem to be using for everything these days.

Also, this makes me smile to no end.

      Life On A Crescent.

Behind walls like mountains, are statues & fountains,
The gardens have vistas, the ladies have missed us.
The children they twitter, their eyes all-a-glitter,
& the baby's so tiny, my car's so perfect & shiny.

So let us go soon to the street shaped like the moon,
So come here my sweetheart, & make a new start.
A double front garage, we'll float on a mirage,
& you will awaken, to the smell of cooked bacon.
& I will be earning, once we take the turning.

So let us go soon to the street shaped like the moon,
Live life on a crescent, spring in the desert.
Life on a crescent is something that we have got to learn to believe.

But just round the corner, the dream's end,
There's little Jack Horner, but he's gone round the bend.
His body is bent, & his money is all gone.
He eats jam from a spoon, & he stares at the moon

Life on a crescent, spring in the desert,
Life on a crescent, spring in a desert.
Life on the crescent was something that we mistakenly thought we might have to concede,
      But we learnt to believe.
