Being generally stupid with gamertagsSo up until recently I had an old gamertag on the Xbox 360 my brother and I shared. I wasn't particularly fond of it, nor was I really accomplished at all -- but I had my saves on it. The name was meh. Not particularly creative, I kind of hated it. A few months ago however I decided fuck it, I'm going to get my own Xbox. So I did. And then I thought, in a momentary fit of stupidity,
I'm going to register a new gamer tag and start fresh!So I did. Now I had
GamertagA and
GamertagB. Two separate entities, the latter of which I started playing fresh and happy.
Until I realized.

My Limited Edition content was on the first one. Preorder bonuses, etc.

And now that I'd established downloadable content on my second one as well, I couldn't go back (and didn't want to) and that nulled my second thought of trying to switch names between the two so A would have B's name, which would've been ridiculously expensive anyway.
So, kids. Always think before you do stupid shit or you end up with two gamertags and a fucking pissy mood. :(
