The website notes that Bing is only compatible with Internet Explorer, but if you're using a different browser, please give it a try and let us know so we can tell others they don't have to switch.

If you want to know more about it, check out the FAQ page

UPDATE Hidden away in the FAQ was this:
Q: Am I eligible to join the Bing Rewards Preview if I am not a U.S. resident?
A: No, only U.S. residents (50 U.S. States and D.C.) are eligible to join the Bing Rewards Preview.

So turns out this is for US Residents only, apologies to anyone's hopes I've just dashed.

Quick side note: There's no planned Weekend Hunts for this weekend, people are probably too busy playing Reach and I don't blame them. If you're looking for Reach people to play with, leave your Gamertag in the comments and play with other awesome people in the community.

And i know if says that it can only internet explorer, but i downloaded it via IE, and it installed in in my Firefox. Win? I think so.

Did anyone else notice that on the website, the picture for the "Movies, Music & Games" reward category is of a Playstation controller? Kind of ironic, haha.

If you click on the button with the points on it, it gives you "suggestions" for things to get you points. All you need to do is click the links to get the points.

You also get points for searching with bing, and it doesn't care what you search for. I just spent 5 minutes randomly poking keys for another 16 points (per day).

You need to install it using internet explorer, but after the install it will work in Firefox and still receive points.

I did the same thing installed via IE it appeared in Firefox.
Only downside is it seems Firefox is acting really really poorly. Slow and unresponsive at points.
Grrr. I don't know how long I'll be able to keep using this toolbar before I chuck it off my system.

The Bing bar installs as a Firefox add-on, but it makes Firefox run VERY slowly, and can even crash it. It's only worth the trouble to bang out some searches on IE to rack up the points.

I'll be doing this. I primarily use safari, but I'll use IE for a few days if it means I can earn some points toward Mass Effect 2 DLC.

I'll be playing Reach all weekend if anyones interested. GT: Proud Texan
