Xbox OneThis marks the beginning of the end for Microsoft having the most popular game console. First and foremost, they actually implemented DRM on games. Basically, the moment you play a game on your account on the XBOne, it becomes locked to your account so that only you can play it. If you want to sell it or give it to someone, you have to pay a fee to unlock it. Secondly, it can't play 360 games. Your vast library of 360 games is now rendered useless unless you keep both your 360 and your One (if you even get it that is) Now I know its because they moved to the x64 CPU architecture, but are you really trying to tell me one of the leading technology companies couldn't find a way to mak...
Your vast library of 360 games is now rendered useless unless you keep both your 360 and your One (if you even get it that is) Now I know its because they moved to the x64 CPU architecture, but are you really trying to tell me one of the leading technology companies couldn't find a way to make an emulator? The original xbox used an Intel Celeron CPU and the 360 used an IBM PowerPC CPU yet we could play (most) original xbox games on the 360. And of all the possible names they could have chosen, they chose Xbox One? Its not the first, its the 3rd. Its like when apple called the latest iPad "The new iPad" instead of the 4th gen.
Anyway. That's my view on the matter. I have a hard time believing this console will be successful with these two major design flaws.
